First off, Zofi would be spending the night with Sam in Sam's bedroom, meaning the one here in my house and not at Sam's parents’ house.

Zofi's dad had promised to talk to his wife, so the hope was that this would not be the kind of Lengthy stay that Sam had just gone through.

Still, if this threatened to Last into next week, the girls planned to make a run to Zofi's house to pack up some of her belongings.

After that, the rest of the conversation turned to Zofi's formal admission of being a lesbian. Zofi realized that while she'd privately told a few of us that she was gay, "I never actually announced it to the whole group.”

“Uh, we knew," Naimh chided with a smile.

“And you did announce it at Prom," Mari chimed in. "You told Antonio you were proud of being a Lesbian."

“I did?" Zofi Looked confused.

Holly Laughed. "Yes, you did."

I made a face. "Zofi's mom doesn't know I'm with Sam, though. She thinks I'm just double-dating Zofi and Neevie."

“Ah, shite," Naimh swore. She stood up and paced away, muttering half to herself, "She's gonna call me mam. Don’ know why tha’ dinna ‘cur me

“fore.”

Mari looked over at Zofi.

“Do your parents have everyone's phone numbers?"

Zofi frowned. "I know for sure they have Sam's and Neevie's. I don't know if they have the rest."

“Does it really matter?" I sat up straight. "We have to start with the assumption all your parents are going to find out. We probably should've planned for this eventuality from the beginning."

“My mom won't care at least," Alice chimed in. "Well, she'll care, but
