Belle explained, “The whole bit about Matty dating both of us was a complete non-issue. We showed up looking to come clean, and when Mari admitted that the two of us were sharing him, her mom was all, ‘Oh, that makes total sense now!' We were all surprised, but then she's all,

"I knew Mari wasn't good enough to get such a handsome and well-spoken boyfriend on her own.‘"

Zofi clapped her hands over her mouth, and Sam's eyes got big as she exclaimed, "She did NOT."

Mari Looked ready to cry again, and I squeezed her close.

Belle continued, “She talked about how Mari never flirted with boys and wasn't outgoing, unlike all her cousins. She'd apparently been trying to get Mari to stop reading books so much and go find a boy, quote,

“Before all the good ones are taken’. So it had been a total surprise when Matty first showed up. And then she went and fucking bagged on

Mari gaining weight for a couple of years while her dad apologized and tried to get his wife to stop."

“What a fucking bitch!" Zofi exclaimed.

“Matty got all defensive and started barking at her about respecting the woman her daughter had grown up to be and how he was proud to be her boyfriend, that what they shared was serious, and how much he loved her. It was really sweet actually.”

Mari cuddled herself closer to me.

“Of course, her mom spat something in Spanish and muttered about how if

Mari was all that, she would've been able to satisfy Matty on her own without me."

Mari whimpered, and I turned to assure her, "Of course, -I- know that my Angel with the body built for sex could outfuck the entire BTC if she really wanted to. I just didn't want to say that kind of thing out loud in front of your dad."

Mari blushed bright pink and nuzzled her cheek against my shoulder

"So... yeah," Belle sighed.

“Overall, I guess bringing me along backfired in that sense."

Sam rubbed her forehead and looked up at me.

“Maybe would've been better off if we just let them think you two were monogamous and then dealt with the fallout if and when they caught you otherwise?"

I shook my head. "Doesn't matter anymore. What's done is done. Although after all that, we didn't stick around for Lunch. I explained that we felt obligated to tell them the truth, thanked her father for being understanding, and then I took the girls out of the house. We went to get fast food and calm down."

“Oh, and to your point,” Belle added, Looking at Sam.

“We never did get around to explaining all seven of us. Sooo... yeah, graduation might still get funky."

"Well..." Sam sighed. "It's not like we're gonna strip him down and fuck him in the middle of the Quad. The students all know how close-knit we are. So Long as none of us get past first base with him in our graduation gowns, I think I'm inclined to go with the ‘deal with the fallout if any’ plan from this point on. The only parents who might've had issues at least all know Matty isn't exclusive to their daughters at this point, even if not necessarily all seven of us except for Neevie's parents. Just remind the girls to keep the kisses relatively chaste and I think we'll manage to get through the summer in one piece, huh?"

“Works for me." I nodded and squeezed Mari tight. Then I popped my eyebrows and looked over at Zofi. "So with THAT out of the way, are you ready for your own potential showdown?"

Since she was nodding slowly in response to my question, I expected

Zofi to take a deep breath and then answer in the affirmative. But instead she abruptly stopped, looked me in the eye, and said,
