Blair suddenly stopped in her tracks.
"York, what did you just say? Who is having a get-together with Damon?"
York replied, “It's Wesley." He added in a hushed voice, “Stella's grandmother is very fond of Wesley. I mean, who wouldn't be? He's the
God of Warriors of our country. The old lady wants them to end up together. Stella's now waiting for further information so she can have a chance to interact with Wesley. She's not here for company business
Let's just forget what happened there."
“Wesley? The God of Warriors of our country. It's obviously Wesley!'
Blair thought.
"Stella's grandmother likes Wesley for her? Bullshit. It must be some kind of an excuse for Stella. She's obviously head over heels for him.
She's planned everything to create an opportunity for herself to bump into Wesley.'
Now that Blair was aware of Stella's feelings for Wesley, the CEO's daughter was now considered as a love rival. The look in her eyes changed when she thought of Stella.
It dawned on Blair that she had more love rivals now: Megan, Garnet, and Stella. She didn't expect Wesley to be so popular among women.
York was still trying to convince Blair in the corridor when the door to their private room flung open. Still in her high heels, Stella came out running, holding her phone. As she came closer to Blair, she snorted, "Get out of my way!"
Blair was frozen at the audacity. Stella glared at her and yelled, "Are you deaf? I said move! You bitch! I said get out of my way!"
“Did she just call me a bitch?' Blair took a deep breath as an effort to stay calm. She was fuming.
She grew up with her parents' and the Jenkins family's support. She had never been disrespected like that.
Even after her parents passed away, everyone still respected her since the Jenkins family was influential.
Blair silently moved aside to give way. Stella wore a smug smile as she walked past her. As she was passing by, Blair stuck out a foot in front of Stella.
“Ah!" Stella tripped over Blair's foot.
She fell onto the floor in a rather awkward position.
York saw everything clearly. Before he could scold Blair, he hastily held out a hand to help Stella up.
"Stella, are you okay?"
“Ouch! It hurts." Stella could barely stand on her feet. One of her knees hit the floor hard.
Some waiters standing by the doors of the other private rooms noticed the noise. They craned their heads to check what happened. Stella was already pointing a finger towards Blair when a door opened, and a tall man came out of it.
Stella immediately recognized who it was, and as if in a flick of a switch, her face softened. She bit her lower lip and swallowed the words she was about to throw at Blair. She tidied herself up and smoothened her hair. She was graceful once again. She smiled sweetly to greet the man, "Hi, Wesley. Fancy seeing you here."
Wesley gave her the slightest nod and turned to look at Blair.
