Not long after, Niles gave up.
"I quit! I'm going home. I no longer want that woman. She's just not worth this struggle. Actually you're her type. I'LL give her your number."
The soldiers snickered.
Wesley had seen many soldiers like Niles before, and knew exactly how to deal with him. In a cold voice, he said, "You quit? No. That's not gonna happen." He instructed the soldier atop the rock to fasten the rope.
“Niles, you can stay there to take a break. The rest of us are going to have Lunch."
"Wesley, are you out of your mind? You can't just Leave me here! I'm not a soldier. I just wanted to work out a little! Don't you dare pull a stunt like this!"
The soldiers gave Niles a thumbs-up. None of them dared defy Wesley's orders.
Wesley was not angry, though. He turned to his brother and said, “Just do less talking and do more climbing. Are you really a man? Look at the uniform you're wearing. You're tarnishing it.”
The sun burned high up in the sky, and Niles was getting really thirsty. However, he still didn't stop cursing his brother.
“Wesley!
Let me down this instant! I swear, once I get down from here, I'm gonna skin you alive! You are a big bully, Wesley. How could you treat your only brother Like this? I'll beat the shit out of you once I get off this huge ass rock! I'll drag you down with me to the pits of hell!"
“Oh, is that so? Then you'll have to get down first." There was only one person Wesley didn't know how to deal with, and that was Blair.
Handling Niles was a piece of cake.
Niles was left with no choice. He returned to climbing the rock. Just a few minutes after, he stopped again.
“Wesley, my dear brother, please let me go. I'm never going to train with you again. I'm not a soldier.
Please spare me some mercy. I'll get heatstroke! It's blazing hot in here. It's noon, for crying out loud."
Wesley paid him no mind and started to walk away with his men, leaving
Niles alone.
“Chief, are you sure we're just going to leave him alone like that? He is not a soldier, after all." Worry was written all over Talbot's face.
“I've long wanted to teach him a lesson. If he passes out, I'll take him to the hospital," Wesley said indifferently. He didn't believe that his brother would be this big of a wuss.
Talbot wanted to add something more, but before he could, Wesley cast a dangerous glance at him.
"Talbot." His voice was as cold as ice.
“Huh?”
A bad feeling loomed over Talbot.
"Go climb the rock again. You must keep in pace with Niles, and you can't help him."
