Wesley smiled smugly and patted her head.

“But I want to spend two more days here," he said.

Strands of her black hair fell smoothly to the sides when Blair shook her head in refusal.

"If you don't drive me back home today, I swear

I'll stay here for the rest of my life."

“ALL right. You win!" Since Blair was quite adamant, Wesley had no choice but to comply with her demands.

Before saying goodbye to Blair's grandparents, Wesley bought a few packs of cigarettes and fresh fruits to give to the neighbors.

It was a kind gesture on his part to show them his gratitude for them taking care of Blair's grandparents.

Blair smiled to herself, feeling deeply moved as she watched Wesley politely bid farewell to the neighbors. She had never thought of sending some gifts to her grandparents' neighbors before.

After a three-hour drive, they arrived at the Eastern Coastal

Apartments. Before long, Blair received Joslyn's call.

“Hi Blair, are you busy? Do you mind if I bring my baby to visit you?"

“No, of course not. I'm not busy at all. I'll be waiting for you and my dear nephew. We can take him out for shopping later."

“Sure!"

Although Wesley was on vacation, he still had a few things to deal with on his own. As such, he drove off in his car right after he dropped

Blair off at home. Since Blair had already quit her job, she didn't have much to keep herself busy with. Joslyn's phone call was like a blessing in disguise.

When Joslyn arrived, Blair was already waiting for them, and there were various assortments of snacks and drinks on the tea table.

Baby Patrick was almost a year old and he was as cute as a button.

Blair held him in her arms.

“Hello, Little boy. Do you know who I am?

I'm your cousin, Blair." Ever since they were young, the two women had a pact that they would be the godmothers of each other's children.

Joslyn was married to Hartwell, Blair's cousin, and their son was

Blair's first cousin once removed. So Blair couldn't be Patrick's godmother.

When Wesley came back home, his face lit up at the sight of Blair playing with a chubby little baby.

This was the first time that he had seen Blair holding a baby. She looked happy and natural, as if she was playing with her own son.
