Blair was shocked. She hung up, feeling dejected.
She pondered over it for the whole afternoon and then slowly realized that this might have something to do with Wesley
When he came back home that evening, Blair cornered him.
"Wesley, I want to be a volunteer teacher. What do you think?" she pried.
He stared into her sharp eyes and said honestly, “I had my people cancel your application."
Blair was angered beyond belief.
The next day, she packed her stuff and left the apartment.
This time, she didn't get caught at the entrance of the apartment complex. But as she was waiting for her flight in the airport lounge,
Wesley arrived and brought her back home. In order to prevent her from fleeing again, he grounded her completely.
Blair was going crazy. It was all madness. A few days later, Wesley took her to the hair salon. He asked the hair stylist to straighten her curly hair. Blair didn't argue; she knew that it would be useless.
Wesley wouldn't listen to her anyway. He was bossy and domineering. The most terrifying part was that he banged her relentlessly, every night.
Whenever Wesley saw Blair in some sexy outfit, he would tear it into pieces. He had already torn apart six or seven of her beautiful dresses.
So, after her hair was done, Wesley decided to buy her some new clothes. Of course, he picked them out himself.
He asked the staff to send the clothes he had bought to his car, and he took Blair to the shoe store next. He bought her two pairs of shoes to go with the new clothes.
To their surprise, they ran into Debbie, Colleen and Adriana at the mall.
“Hi, Bless! Wesley!" Adriana called out. That was when Blair noticed them.
Blair hadn't seen Debbie in years, and she found that Debbie had become more beautiful than before.
"Hi, Ladies!" she greeted them excitedly.
Debbie knew that Wesley disliked her, so she nodded at Blair and replied politely, “Hello, Blair."
They hadn't seen each other for so long, and that was why she was being a bit formal. But they would get closer again in no time. That was just how women's friendship worked.
Blair wanted to run to them. But Wesley already knew what was on her mind. He grabbed hold of her collar the moment she moved forward.
He was at least twenty centimeters taller than her, so he almost lifted her up by grabbing onto her collar abruptly. The scene was so funny that the other three women burst out laughing.
Wesley, however, maintained a deadpan face and shot Blair a warning glance.
It had already been three years since Carlos’ accident, and Debbie was honestly surprised that Wesley hated her even more now, just as Damon did.
Afraid that Wesley's attitude might hurt Debbie, Blair turned around and huffed, “Don't act like that. Debbie and I are good friends."
