Dollie gritted her teeth as she waited silently. Their intimacy was killing her and she was fuming with anger. But she couldn't do anything, since Sheffield had never confirmed his relationship with her. She had to tolerate everything till the time was right.
Stroking Evelyn's fair face, Sheffield asked casually, “Evelyn, did you expose yourself to the media tonight for me? Do you really think that I cannot live without you? Or did you think that I will not pursue you after knowing that you are a female CEO?"
"I didn't do it for you. I don't care what you think," Evelyn denied.
With a gentle smile, he exhaled near her ear and planted a soft kiss on her neck, Leaving a Lipstick mark since his lips had been stained from their previous kiss.
"Well, Evelyn. Don't get the wrong idea. You will never be able to forget me."
Evelyn looked at his lips which were clean by now, and she quickly wiped the lipstick on her neck.
Sheffield licked his lips with an evil grin and stepped back from her.
“Maybe you're telling the truth.”
He took one more step back and waved at the woman behind him. Dollie walked over to him.
Sheffield wrapped his arm around her shoulder and looked at Evelyn.
There was not the slightest change in her eyes, whatsoever. He said with a bright smile, “Don't worry, I'm just kidding. Rest assured,
Evelyn. I will not pester you anymore."
With that, he turned around and started walking away. He waved at her and said with a sigh, "My Leg has finally recovered. I don't want it to be broken again just for paying off my romantic debts.”
Sheffield directed Dollie to a car without a logo. He opened the passenger seat door for her like a gentleman and let her in.
After closing the door for her, he went around to the driver's seat. He waved to the woman who was still standing in the dark corner before getting into the driver's seat. The engine started with a roar and the car disappeared into the traffic.
Evelyn felt a prick in her heart; a pain that she couldn't ignore.
Only she knew how much it hurt to drown that emotion.
As she watched the car disappear in the distance, Evelyn was sure that she wasn't mistaken.
The car was the Latest model that had been Launched by Hilton Group last year. It was worth at least eight million, and the top-end model was worth at least ten million.
The one Sheffield drove was a high-end model, but he had slightly refitted it.
Many people wouldn't know about this, but Evelyn recognized it because it had been designed by Matthew himself.
Only three such cars were produced worldwide. One was owned by Matthew, another one was in Switzerland and the last one... She had never asked about it. Turned out that Sheffield owned the final piece.
She wondered if it was really his.
When she got back to her car, she saw Nadia talking to Tayson anxiously. The bodyguard was looking elsewhere with a poker face without saying a word.
When he saw Evelyn, he reminded Nadia, "She is here."
