Sure enough, Sheffield didn't disappoint her. When one bodyguard got too close, Sheffield laced his fingers around his head, forcing it down while he jammed knee after knee into the man's gut. When a second one approached, he moved the clinched man's body between him and his buddy.

The second bodyguard kept trying to punch over his friend, unable to connect. He used similar tactics when more attackers showed up. Dealing with those men was a breeze to him.

After giving these bodyguards a good beating, he went to hit Calvert, who couldn't even stand up. Most of his weight was supported by Rowena.

This time, Evelyn stopped him.

"Sheffield! It's over."

Panting, he lowered his fist and tidied his clothes. Calvert's eyes were as venomous as a viper's. Sheffield took a few breaths, then warned him hoarsely, "Listen up. Stay away from my wife, or I'll dig out your organs and auction them off online."

Calvert was too angry to control himself. He let go of Rowena and staggered to Sheffield again, swinging wildly. He was stopped by

Rowena's scream.

“Stop! Just stop..."

“In case I didn't make myself clear.. Sheffield took out a scalpel from his pocket, waved it in front of brother and sister, and said with a grin, "I could start right away, in fact!”

Looking at the scalpel, Calvert said through clenched teeth, "Try it!"

“No problem! You think I'm afraid? Humph! " Sheffield held out his hand> with the scalpel and swung it at Calvert's waist.

Rowena turned to Evelyn and said, “Evelyn, I'm so disappointed in you.

How could you allow him to be so rude to my brother?"

Sheffield cast a glance at Rowena. Before she could react, she felt something cold on her neck, just under her ear. It was sharp, she could tell.

She was too frightened to move. She looked down and saw the scalpel.

Her face went pale immediately.

“Who do you think you are? Don't talk to my wife that way! So how do you want it? I can take your beauty, or your life! One more word and

I'L kill you!"

Calvert ordered, "Let's get out of here! This isn't over! Not by a Long shot!"

The bodyguards and Rowena held Calvert upright and left, leaving

Sheffield, Evelyn and Tayson behind.

After putting away the scalpel, Sheffield turned around and stood in front of Evelyn. Resting his arm around her shoulder, he said, "Let's go. Time for bed." But he didn't say much more, wincing from the damage he'd taken in the fight.

Evelyn reprimanded, “I told you not to mess with him."

Calvert was powerful. She was really worried about Sheffield's future safety.
