However, before she saw Sheffield, she got a call from him.
"Evelyn, your father is serious this time. I don't know how he knew I snuck into the parking lot last night. He arranged several more people to guard the entrance to the parking Lot. I'll park my car at the roadside. Can you ask someone to pick me up?"
Evelyn sighed.
"Okay. Just keep a low profile." Her father was not at the company this afternoon so Sheffield wouldn't bump into him.
“No problem!"
After parking his car by the roadside, Sheffield took out his baseball cap and put on a pair of dark-tinted sunglasses
Initially, Evelyn wanted to ask Nadia to pick him up, but she wasn't in the office, so she had no choice but to go by herself.
At the square in front of the company building
As soon as Evelyn walked out of the building, she sighted a man wearing all black. Atop his head was a baseball cap and perched on his nose were dark-tinted sunglasses. He was standing beside the fountain, chewing gum, with a large box of red roses in his arms.

Evelyn thought Sheffield was so bold that he dared to kiss her at the company gate. Holding the roses in her arms, she smiled and said, “You give me a present every time you sleep with me. Do you think I'm a prostitute?"
Sheffield widened his eyes in response as he protested, “I swear to
God, no! Don't call yourself that. It's just roses! You're overthinking this, Eve."
Evelyn smiled. She turned around and headed for the company.
“But you gave me gifts on the second day after we slept together. Did you do that on purpose?”
“Babe, it's just a coincidence. I asked my friend to buy roses from
Bulgaria and he arrived last night. What am I supposed to do?"
“Okay, I know. I was just kidding!" Evelyn reluctantly glanced at
Sheffield, who was walking behind her.
Sheffield breathed a sigh of relief deliberately and patted his chest.
“I was scared to death! I thought you were serious!"
Evelyn giggled.
There weren't many people in the hall on the first floor. Evelyn and
