Evelyn didn't have the patience to play his silly games.

"Get off me!

I'm still mad at you. Don't say that you missed me. I won't fall for that!" Evelyn was a woman, not a gullible teenage girl.

“It's normal for a couple to have a fight. In fact, I blame myself for every time we quarrel. Every time we have a fight, I Love you more than

I did before! What about you? Do you ever feel like that?" Sheffield teased her shamelessly.

“Not at all!" Evelyn was a very plucky, determined, headstrong lady

"Get off of me first. Then we can talk!" Evelyn was actually worried that someone would come in and catch them in such a compromising position.

Sheffield let go of her hands obediently and helped her up on her feet.

But as soon as they got up, he hugged her again.

“I'm glad that you came to me on your own. I mean it!"

“Just talk! Don't come so close to me!" He was holding her so tightly that she almost ran out of breath.

Sheffield grinned.

"I know you've missed me, and I missed you too."

He then stepped forward, forcing her to step backwards, just as they had done earlier.

“Stop talking nonsense! I never said I missed you!"

Before long, she had retreated to the door. Sheffield smiled, pressing her against the door, and said, "Fine. I missed you. You were worried that someone would walk in on us, weren't you? They can't get in now!"

“What do you mean?" Suddenly, Evelyn had a bad feeling about this.

Sheffield gave her a slight peck on her ruby red lips and said, "This is what I mean." He flipped his woman over, facing her back towards him.

Evelyn was forced to put her hands on the door. Upon realizing what he was going to do, she felt both angry and anxious.

“Let go of me! I'm here to talk to you. Hmm..."

“It's okay. Go ahead. I'm listening."

"Go ahead? How can I talk Like this?' Evelyn felt a strong urge to hit him.

Joshua got off the cruiser and turned around to look back. The more he thought about it, the guiltier he felt. Evelyn was obviously angry, and how could he have left Sheffield alone Like that?

After struggling with his thoughts for a few minutes, he decided to go back and put in a good word for Sheffield, so he could put his guilt to rest.

When he came to the corridor leading up to Room 266, he saw Tayson.
