Half an hour later, his phone rang, interrupting their romantic moment.
Evelyn sighed in relief, mentally thanking the person who had called at the right moment. If it weren't for the phone call, she would have died on the bed.
Sheffield ignored the call, but Evelyn reached for his phone. It was a number; no name. She slid the answer button and placed the phone to his ear.
Peterson's voice was clearly audible from the other end of the line.
"Sheffield, something has happened in the company. Come home now!"
"I'LL come at noon," Sheffield answered impatiently, annoyed by the old man's timing. He was just getting to the good part with his lover.
“The company will be gone by noon! Fitzgerald Group is working with

Sheffield put on a bathrobe and winked at her.
“Of course! To finish what we started."
Evelyn slumped her shoulders and shook her head.
"You're crazy."
After he went into the bathroom, she quickly got out of bed, bearing the soreness all over her body.
When he saw that Evelyn was fully dressed, his first thought was to strip her naked again and carry her to his bed. But then, something occurred to him.
They went downstairs together. As usual, Felix was waiting for her. But before she could get into the car, Sheffield called, "Wait!"
She turned around and was surprised when Sheffield pressed her against the car and kissed her on the Lips.
Evelyn was confused by his sudden kiss. ‘He was about to get into the car. Why the sudden display of affection?'
It was early in the morning. People in the Thompson family were leaving the house one by one for work as Sheffield walked in with his suit jacket in his hand. He looked handsome and charming, and his eyes were brimming with satisfaction from the previous night.
Kaylee saw him walk in. She curved up her lips and said softly, "Hello,
