“What a disgrace! Many people tested White Dew's new skincare products and agreed they were more effective than the skincare products of Botanic."
"I'm skeptical. White Dew has misled us before. I'm satisfied with the products of Botanic and reluctant to switch."
"The Phillips Group doesn't own that formula. They've earned my disdain!"
Lilah scrolled through the comments, finding most were negative, and decided to shut down the computer.
Emma looked worried. “Miss Phillips, what's our next step?"
Lilah paused to think. “Emma, have our public relations team issue a statement."
With public opinion spiraling, Lilah knew that clarifying might not change much.
“Alright, I'll do it immediately. Is there anything else you need?"
Emma was thorough in her approach.
Lilah shook her head and replied, "No."
With the door shut, she pondered. Apart from her, Adelynn, and Milly, no one else knew about the formula.
Since Adelynn wasn't around and Milly had just started, she couldn't ask without proof.
She had no choice but to wait.
Then, she called Emma and said, “Please send me the security footage from the R&D lab for the last two days."
After ending the call, she pondered her next move for solving the problem.
She didn't ponder over who leaked the formula. Now, White Dew was enjoying its benefits.
It looked like meeting Karol was a must.
Perhaps she could gather some information from her.
With that decision, Lilah got up, checked the time—-almost noon—and walked out of the office. As she walked down the hallway, she received the footage from Emma.
She then called Gerard while heading to the elevator. "Gerard, got a minute?"
"I'm free. What's up?"
"I need Karol's number. I have to discuss something with her." Lilah reached the elevator and pressed the button.
“Sure," Gerard responded.
He promptly sent the number.
