“Top-notch, Miss Phillips. We haven't had any incidents in the past month," the manager proudly replied.

"Excellent. Keep it that way," Lilah commended him.

The manager beamed under her praise. “Absolutely, Miss Phillips. You can count on me to run this hotel exceptionally well."

"Good."

Lilah pointed out a few minor issues before returning to the company.

The next day, swamped with work, Lilah ordered Lunch to eat at her desk.

Emma entered with a worried expression. "Miss Phillips, you need to see something online."

"What's the matter?" Lilah asked, a knot of unease forming in her stomach.

“Just take a look," Emma said, navigating to a specific webpage.

Lilah's composure faltered slightly as she saw the headline screaming from the screen. “When did this happen?" she inquired, her voice tight.

"Just last night," Emma reported grimly.

Lilah, her jaw clenched, turned to Emma. "Get your things. We're going to the hotel."

"Right away," Emma confirmed.

"Please leave me." After dismissing Emma, Lilah stared at the striking headline, lost in thought.

The headline had made its way to the top news, reading, “Security Breach at Starry Hotel, Owned by Phillips Group, Leads to Intrusion into Female Guest's Room by Naked Perpetrator."

Upon scrolling down, Lilah saw various comments from different people.

“What? My friend checked in at this hotel before! She told me it was good, so It is hard to believe that this kind of thing would've happened there. I should warn my friend not to choose this hotel!"

“Is this true? The hotel has a good reputation in all aspects. Furthermore, it's a five-star hotel! It's unbelievable that this mishap would happen to them."

"People, don't believe everything you see online! It isn't confirmed yet, so we'd better wait and see where this issue goes. Nowadays, there are people who will do anything just to slander someone! I myself had a wonderful time staying in this hotel before. It's remarkable in all aspects. Unless, they released an official statement, I won't believe in mere rumors."

“This is horrible! How can they let this happen? I won't stay in this hotel again"

"They do charge for hundreds of dollars a night, yet they don't have a decent security system? This hotel is a rip-off!"

At this moment, Lilah stopped scrolling further. She wouldn't know the truth if she just looked online. She had to go to the hotel in person to find out what actually happened.

Therefore, about an hour later, Lilah and Emma arrived at Starry Hotel.

The manager was already informed beforehand, so when the two Ladies arrived, the door was already open, with the doormen standing in Line on both sides of the hotel.
