As soon as Lilah stepped in, the manager called out, “Miss Phillips, we are ready for the site inspection.”

Following the manager, the others also repeated together, "Miss Phillips, we are ready when you are."

Lilah wasn't really in a good mood and paid no attention to their greeting procedure. Instead, with a straight face, She asked the manager, “Did you get the contact number of the female guest from last night? I will personally talk with her."

The manager let out a faint smile and nodded earnestly. "Yes. I'll contact her right now."

“Tell her to come here. I need to hear it from her mouth." Lilah wouldn't stop until she figured out what was going on.

The manager nodded repeatedly and walked aside to make the call.

After a while, the manager returned and said, “Miss Phillips, the guest said that she would be here soon."

“Okay, good." Lilah crossed her arms over her chest and walked along the corridor. "I remember you promising that the security system works perfectly. Am I right?"

Hearing this, the manager felt so embarrassed of himself. It was just yesterday when he made that promise to Lilah. His face was flushed red as he tried to explain, “Miss Phillips, I did put the security system my top priori—"

Before the manager could finish his sentence, Lilah interrupted, “Which room did that female guest stay in? Take me there."

The manager nodded and answered politely, "Yes, Miss Phillips. This way please."

After stepping out of the elevator, the manager led Lilah to the female guest's room. Lilah glanced around the room, quickly noticing that the lamp on the bedside table was still on, and the window was open. The floor was clean and the bed was neat.

With furrowed brows, Lilah asked, “That female guest didn't stay in this room last night after the incident, right?"

The manager confirmed, “You're right, Miss Phillips. That was the case."

Just then, the manager received a call from the receptionist, saying that that female guest had arrived. He instructed to make her wait for a while in the lobby.

However, Lilah had other plans. "No. Let's go downstairs and meet that guest now."

As soon as they got out of the elevator on the first floor, Lilah heard a woman shouting, “Ha! What a shabby hotel you are running here! Good security system, my ass! How do you plan to compensate me for experiencing such a horrible thing yesterday?"

One of the hotel directors tried to appease her, so as not to alarm the other guests. "Please calm down. Our CEO is on her way."

"Good! She and I will definitely have a talk. I'm warning you guys. If I can't get the answer I want, then I won't let this matter go easily. Prepare to be sued!"

Just when the director was about to say something more, Lilah approached the female guest and spoke in a flat tone. “Are you the guest involved in the incident last night?"

The female guest was tall. She wore a lot of make-up but Looked about the same age as Lilah.

Hearing this, the woman turned to her, raised an eyebrow, and asked back, "And who are you? What does that have to do with you?"

Emma butted in and introduced, "This is our CEO, Miss Lilah Phillips."

Hearing this, the woman paused for a second and took a good look at Lilah.
