The man with narrow eyes, seeing an opportunity, began, "Gorgeous, thank you for letting me-"
Before he could finish, Karol asked in a cold tone, "Who told you to do it?"
"No one," the man claimed earnestly.
“You're lying! Who told you to do this?" Karol pressed, unconvinced that he would have dared to sneak into her room without someone's encouragement.
That was impossible.
The man was stunned and explained, “No one actually told me to do it. I just thought you were beautiful. I've never seen someone so stunning in our area, so I did something stupid..."
Believing that the man was unwilling to confess the truth, Karol ordered her two subordinates, "Throw him into the sea."
Each time she recalled that this man had touched her, she felt a violent urge to end his life immediately.
The man's face blanched with terror. Sharks and other mysterious creatures lurked in the sea below. Being thrown into the water would certainly mean his death.
His fear escalated as he pondered his fate.
“Please, no! Spare my life! Gorgeous, I promise I won't do it again!"
“Do it now," Karol commanded icily.
"Yes, madam." The two subordinates nodded and moved to execute her order.
"When we reach shore, hand him over to the police," Gerard interjected.
Karol huffed in annoyance and said, "Fine."
The man feared he'd become shark food. He was so terrified that his limbs felt numb, and his face went as white as a sheet. He expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you, Mr. Harris."
“Tie him up. Everyone else, back to your rooms."
As Gerard was about to head back to his room, Karol stopped him. “Mr. Harris, could I stay in your room tonight? I'm really scared that someone else might try to harm me."
“No, return to your room," Gerard replied coldly.
He then continued to his room and closed the door behind him.
Watching the door shut, Karol bit her lip and turned away.
By dawn, the ship had reached shore.
Gerard instructed his subordinate to take the narrow-eyed man to the local police station.
He then directed everyone to load the ship's cargo of salt crystals.
