With only two weeks remaining until the final round of the competition, Lilah had finished her work but felt it could still be improved.

Fortunately, there was still time.

After ending the phone call, Lilah felt someone's eyes on her.

Oddly, the observer didn't give off any negative vibes.

She scanned her surroundings but couldn't identify the source.

Was someone following her?

With a frown, Lilah dialed Gerard.

“Have you assigned someone to watch me?"

"Do you need it?" Gerard asked, sounding confused. "I don't see a need. Karol isn't a threat to you," he continued.

Gerard knew Lilah wasn't fond of being monitored and wouldn't arrange it unless absolutely necessary.

"I'm glad to hear it's not you," Lilah said, letting out a sigh of relief.

However, Gerard sensed something was off.

"Is someone following you?"

"Yes."

"I'LL send someone to look into it."

"That won't be needed," Lilah said. "The person following me doesn't seem to have harmful intentions. He must have his reasons. He'll come forward when he's ready. We can handle it then."

"Alright, I'll come and get you."

"Alright."

Five minutes later, Gerard's flashy sports car stopped in front of Lilah.

Lilah teased him, "Do you really need all this flashy stuff?"

"It's just my style," Gerard said with a smirk. "We need to show whoever is following you that you're protected."

Without a fuss, Lilah hopped into the passenger seat and started chatting about what happened during the day.

“Are you ready to set your plan in motion?" Gerard asked.

"There's no point in waiting," Lilah said, leaning back with her eyes shut.
