At the competition venue, all perfumes were sprayed onto differently colored test papers. The judges, after three rounds of sniffing, would continuously eliminate contestants.

The first to be eliminated was a sweet perfume. The perfumer seemed to have anticipated this and showed little sadness. She scanned the stage, appearing to search for someone.

The second elimination was a man who had crafted a men's fragrance. Aware of the smaller market for men's perfumes, he likely entered the contest to promote his new product. After his elimination, he promptly showcased his perfume bottle in front of the camera, seizing the opportunity to advertise.

As the competition progressed, more participants were eliminated.

Cloudy managed to stay until the final three, but unfortunately, she too was eventually eliminated. Acknowledging her shortcomings, she accepted her defeat graciously.

The competition was now down to just two contestants—Lilah and Karol.

True to Lilah's earlier prediction, Cloudy's and Karol's creations were the same perfume style, and Cloudy's later appearance resulted in low scores for her in the first round. Her reaching this far was a testament to her skills.

Before departing, Cloudy approached Lilah and said sincerely, "It seems I've lost this time. But it doesn't matter. Just make sure you don't lose to that formulaic perfumer."

“Windy, I know you're upset, but there's no need to slander me like that,"

Karol retorted, lifting her chin with pride. Her response stirred whispers among the spectators.

"So, she is Windy?"

"I imagined her differently, more mysterious!"

“Miss Morris' skills surpass Windy's? Impressive! Are all young ladies from rich families so talented nowadays?"

The crowd's praises inflated Karol's ego. She hadn't = anticipated outperforming Windy, and now she felt even more conceited, dismissing the idea that Lilah could be Windy. To her, Lilah was just another woman dependent on men, her success in the competition merely a stroke of luck.

Cloudy arched an eyebrow and responded, "You show no true love for perfumery.

If you're not producing formulaic scents, then what are you doing? Also you're mistaken. I'm not Windy. I'm the Cloudy you've been dealing with.

It's a shame I lost to you this time."

"You're not Windy? Really?" Karol's initial astonishment quickly morphed into ecstasy upon hearing Cloudy's denial.

Cloudy's skills exceeded her expectations, and she briefly wondered if Windy had been among the eliminated contestants earlier.

With a victorious grin, she scanned the group of contestants, speculating whether it was Perfumer No.16, known for her skillful blending, or Perfumer No.19, recognized for her creativity. She mused over who Windy might be.

However, her curiosity faded quickly. Winning the contest was her primary goal. Proclaiming victory over Windy would boost her profits more than merely collaborating with her.

"I'm sorry," Karol said, holding Cloudy's hand with feigned magnanimity.

“Although you didn't win, I hope we can collaborate in the future."

"No, thanks," Cloudy retorted, pulling her hand away. "I have no interest in a brand that views perfume merely as a profit-making tool. Please, excuse me."
