"Come here." Lilah motioned to her with a beckoning finger.

Hadley eyed her cautiously, noticing a plastic item in her hand that resembled a spiked club.

She recognized it as a muscle roller, used for easing muscle tension.

The sight of it made Hadley too scared to approach. She remembered the intense pain it caused when used on her legs.

"Come here," Lilah repeated, her tone showing impatience. "You only get one chance."

Hadley felt a surge of internal dread but knew she had to endure it for the sake of her career.

She bent over the sofa, resigning herself to her fate. Lilah placed the spiked roller on the back of her thigh and pressed down firmly.

Hadley couldn't help but scream in pain.

It was excruciating! Could someone help her? She felt like she was dying.

“What's wrong?" Effie and Briseis were close by when they heard the scream and rushed over.

They found Lilah assisting Hadley with her leg relaxation.

Hadley's screams were desperate, sending chills through the air.

“That's enough. If you go too far, she won't thank you for this,"

Briseis said, her brow furrowed in disapproval.

Effie chimed in, unable to contain her advice, "Exactly, nobody gets why you're doing this, especially since she's just a regular person, not like you.”

Lilah had begun her own Taekwondo training with the horse stance from the start.

Lilah had practiced her horse stance to build up her leg strength.

"It's fine. I know what I'm doing." Lilah shoved the two of them out of the room.

Finally, Hadley broke down, tears streaming down her face.

“Lilah, it hurts. Could you please be gentle with me?" she asked.

A bit annoyed, Lilah said, "Turn over. There are only a few minutes left. Don't make me force you."

When Lilah finished helping Hadley relax her leg muscles, Hadley was so drained she couldn't move.

It didn't faze Lilah. She ordered takeout and got ready to eat.

Eventually, Hadley managed to get up and, trembling, walked to the bathroom. She still hadn't washed up.
