Lilah was irritated. "You haven't checked their whereabouts? Xavier, I left you in charge of Luna Island while I was away. Is this how you handle things?"

Her rebuke caught Xavier Estrada off guard. He started sobbing loudly.

"You've misunderstood me. I've been working hard every day. But now..."

"Shut up!" Lilah snapped as she entered the basement parking lot and got into her car. “Find out where they are. Also, keep an eye on all the island exits. Focus on the task."

Xavier stopped whining and sniffled. “What about you? When will you come back? It's been over a year. Have you forgotten about us?"

Lilah abruptly ended the call. Her mind was in turmoil as she thought of Darian.

After hesitating, she decided to call Gerard. She had promised him they would resolve all the problems together.

However, just then, she received another email with a single attachment. A picture.

The three missing elders from Luna Island were in it, looking defiant while being held at gunpoint. The background appeared to be a hotel wall.

Below the picture was a name: Darian. That confirmed Lilah's suspicion.

Fury almost consumed her, but she knew she had to stay calm and devise a plan to rescue them. It was her only option.

Her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts.

Lilah's temper flared as she spotted the unknown ID. She swiped to answer immediately. "Darian Martel, you despicable bastard!"

Darian chuckled darkly. "Miss Phillips, please calm down. Ladies should be soft and gentle."

Lilah gritted her teeth. "Where are they?"

Darian raised his tone mockingly. "I didn't realize you were so competent, Miss Phillips. You have such a big organization, and your people are all quite capable. If my men weren't armed, I doubt they could have captured those stubborn old men."

“Where are they?" Lilah repeated, her voice steely and impatient.

"Relax. They're close to you. They insisted on leaving the island to find you, and I merely facilitated their journey."

"What do you want?" Lilah's grip tightened on the steering wheel.

Darian's tone shifted to serious. "At 8 P.M. tonight, come to the top floor of Diamond International Tower. Remember, you must come alone. If you don't, I can't guarantee those old men will still be alive when you see them again."

Diamond International Tower was only a few blocks away from where the variety show was being recorded.

Lilah returned home, calmed down, and spent some quality time with Jerrold. Once the maid took him to shower and sleep, she quietly left the house.

Gerard wasn't home that night, having gone to visit his father.

After weighing her options, Lilah decided to meet Darian and rescue the three elders alone.
