Noticing her reaction, Lilah and Gerard exchanged looks but remained silent.

The woman's eyes lingered on Lilah for a moment longer before she collected herself. "Which one of you is Miss Phillips?" she asked.

“I am," replied Lilah, stepping forward confidently.

“You're the one who contacted Dr. Hanson, correct? And who's the patient here?" the woman continued.

Cyrus stepped forward, his condition apparent as the woman's brow furrowed with concern. "It looks serious. Please, come with me."

Kyler and Devonte started to follow but were halted.

"Sorry, but Dr. Hanson prefers to keep her treatments private and will only meet with the patient. Please wait here comfortably," the woman explained graciously.

Despite Dr. Hanson's unusual request, everyone agreed to respect it; after all, she was the doctor.

“I just hope this isn't a wild goose chase with all this secrecy,"

Devonte muttered under his breath, his eyes following them as Cyrus and the young woman vanished inside.

Lilah's heart raced with anxiety.

"Don't worry," Gerard reassured her, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "Since Dr. Hanson has such an excellent reputation, this illness shouldn't be a problem for her."

Lilah nodded, and they took their seats. Soon, a few young women emerged from behind the screen, carrying hot coffee and snacks.

“Everyone, please help yourselves to some coffee while you wait." The lead girl spoke with a friendly smile. Her beautiful face gave her a charming appearance.

“Miss, may I ask for Dr. Hanson's full name?" Lilah inquired gently.

"I'm sorry, miss," the girl apologized. “We only know her surname is Hanson. We don't know her full name."

With that, she led the others away.

"That's very strange. Why wouldn't she reveal her full name? She's so mysterious," Devonte grumbled as he watched them leave.

Lilah appeared deep in thought. Though not very common, the surname Hanson wasn't particularly rare either. As she pondered it, a faint sense of familiarity crept into her mind.

“Hey, don't worry," Gerard reassured her, giving her hand a gentle squeeze, assuming she was still uneasy.

"Could you help me find out more about this Dr. Hanson and her background?" she asked.

"I've already investigated," Gerard stated, his brow furrowed.

“Initially, all her information was obscured, clearly concealed by specialized means. However, leveraging some connections, I discovered she has deep ties to the Hanson family on the border. I'm still delving into the specifics."

The Hanson family near the border?
