Karol felt a twinge of disappointment. A stunt like this wouldn't even make a dent in Lilah's usual calm demeanor.

Yet, seeing her humiliated, no matter how minor, was always worth celebrating.

Inside the venue, Lilah scowled as she watched the scene unfold. This was just another pathetic trick. Couldn't they come up with something original?

"Ill get someone to handle this," Gerard said softly.

"No need," Lilah shot back with a sneer. "This little issue doesn't need your help."

By then, Barth and Hadley had figured out something was off and rushed to cut the power, but Lilah loudly intervened, stopping them in their tracks.

Then, she walked confidently in her high heels, her dress flowing elegantly with each step.

"Lilah, what should we do? Who on earth is nasty enough to pull this?" Hadley whispered, anxiety in her voice.

She worried most about Gerard's reaction to Lilah. After all, no man would take being embarrassed like this in public, especially someone as important as Gerard.

Lilah gently moved Hadley aside and said calmly, "Just watch. I'll show you how it's done."

Hadley felt taken aback.

She stood there, speechless, as Lilah approached the control panel, completely astonished.

But soon, admiration sparkled in Hadley's eyes.

Lilah always amazed her. No matter how this situation played out, her calmness was already impressive!

"What is she doing? Why is she going up there herself? Is she planning to explain?"

"What's there to explain? Oh my God, look at Mr. Harris! He's obviously furious."

"If I were in her shoes, I'd want to find a hole to hide in instead of facing this kind of embarrassment!"

The crowd kept murmuring among themselves. They wouldn't dare confront Gerard directly, but they felt bold enough to criticize Lilah behind his back.

"Ladies and gentlemen." Lilah took the microphone, her voice steady and clear, resonating through the hall. "I'm sorry for interrupting. Please give me just one minute."

After finishing her words, she handed the microphone to Barth. He looked at her with doubt and worry.

Lilah rolled up her sleeves, and her slender fingers flew over the keyboard. The image on the screen began to change right before everyone's eyes.

"Wow, it was Photoshopped! But who is that? She looks so familiar," Hadley exclaimed, the closest to the screen.

As the woman's face became clearer, she realized she recognized her from somewhere.

Soon, the man's face was also restored, thanks to Lilah's expert editing.
