"Second sister, come over here, " Lillie called, her mood seemingly cheerful as she invited Miranda to join them for soup.

Miranda hesitated for a moment but ultimately couldn't resist.

It was tomato and beef brisket soup.

She knew how to make it herself and did it quite well, but it had never felt like this.

Her eyes grew slightly warm.

It wasn't until Lilah came down from upstairs that Miranda's expression softened.

"What's wrong?" Miranda asked, suddenly noticing that Lilah looked off.

"Lilah, come with me to the Valor League. Barth has been stabbed, " Lilah said anxiously.

"I'm coming too, " Gerard said, getting up to get dressed.

The group quickly headed to the Valor League.

On the way, Lilah explained the situation to them.

That damned Arya, she was like a relentless force of nature, so stubborn, no, obstinate, clinging onto Barth and refusing to let go.

Despite being severely injured herself, she kept coming back for more trouble.

This time, she had hidden in Barth's house and attacked him as he came out.

Barth was completely caught off guard and collapsed immediately.

Lilah had brought Miranda with her just in case.

They soon arrived at the hospital, where Cyrus and Devonte were already waiting, their faces grim.

"That ruthless betrayer is unbelievably ruthless. Barth was always so good to her, yet she still had the heart to do this. How can someone be so vicious?" Devonte paced the corridor, looking particularly troubled.

Cyrus sighed helplessly, "What a tragedy. If something happens to Barth, it will be such a disaster... "Hey, girl, you're finally here, " Devonte said, spotting Lilah and quickly approaching her.

"How is Barth?" Lilah asked nervously. Devonte pointed toward the operating room.

"He's still in there. We don't know what's happening, which is very worrying."

Lilah's heart sank.

She was truly upset.

"Gerard, could you help and ask Calvin to check Arya's whereabouts? We can't let her keep Lurking in the shadows, just looking for trouble, " she requested.
