Danna had tracked down the hospital where Lilah and her companions were staying. Initially, she didn't understand what was happening until a kind nurse led her to Joselyn's room. It was only then that her world came crashing down.
The homewrecker had returned!
She was really here, right before her eyes, as alive as ever.
The shock nearly scared her out of her wits.
This woman, this harlot, looked exactly the same as she did over a decade ago. Not a single change, still with that alluring face. What man in the world could resist her?
Danna stared through the small window in the door, her eyes fixed on Joselyn, who was inside advising Lillie on what to be mindful of at the upcoming party.
"Ah!" Lillie turned her head inadvertently and was so frightened by the pair of cloudy eyes at the door that she hearly jumped. "Oh my gosh, there's a ghost!"
She threw herself into Joselyn's arms, trembling.
Joselyn, however, calmly raised her head and met those withered eyes with a steady gaze.
She had seen this person before, in her dreams.
More accurately, in her past memories.
If it weren't for this person, perhaps her life would have turned out differently.
Joselyn used to fear this person.
Now, her mindset had completely changed.
By this time, Danna had already burst in, glaring at her with a piercing glare, her entire being exuding a terrifying aura of hostility.
"You, you harlot, how can you be back? Weren't you already dead?
Weren't you gone, vanished for all these years? Why have you come back to ruin my son again?
Why?" "And who are you?" Joselyn asked, somewhat impatiently.
So much time had passed, yet why did Danna still live in the past?
Who does she think she's fooling?
Danna was taken aback, a look of disbelief on her face.
"What do you mean?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly as she gritted her teeth.
Joselyn slowly stood up, shielding Lillie behind her, and spoke each word deliberately, "What I mean is, I don't know you.
Please leave immediately, or I'll have security escort you out."
