Could it be Alivia's family?
"You're right, it's Alivia," Gerard confirmed.
"This Alivia, I can't believe it. The grudges of a past generation have lingered for over a decade. Why can't she just quietly live her life in peace? Why stir up trouble again?"
Lilah found it incomprehensible.
"What do you plan to do?" Gerard asked.
Lilah pondered for a moment, then sought Miranda's opinion.
They both agreed that the Shen family needed a wake-up call.
However, it was better for Joselyn to handle this matter.
Lilah packaged the evidence Gerard provided into a file and sent it to Joselyn, letting her decide how to proceed.
Joselyn wasn't one to hesitate or be overly cautious. After receiving the file, she sent Lilah a "Thank you, Miss Lilah" message and then called directly.
"Miss Lilah, I'm planning to visit the Shen family tomorrow to have a proper meeting with Alivia. Would you and Miss Miranda be interested in joining me?"
Joselyn warmly invited.
Naturally, they wouldn't refuse.
Meanwhile, Alivia was unaware she was already under scrutiny.
She was still lost in her fantasy of humiliating Joselyn, imagining her stripped of dignity with photos to disgrace her.
"Livia, what's your plan now? You're not getting any younger, and you can't just idle away your days. Why not work at your father's company?" Lydia said, sitting on the sofa, looking at her daughter with concern.
Alivia waved her hand impatiently. "I have money, why should I work? I'm busy these days, let's not talk about it."
Just then, Terry entered from outside, his expression stern and serious, radiating an intimidating aura.
Alivia dared not move, obediently sitting on the sofa.
Terry was a stern man, never indulging his daughter like other wealthy aristocrats. Upon learning that Alivia had returned, he went to see Absolon, visibly displeased.
"Look at yourself now. You're over forty, yet you still act like you're young, socializing with influential families like the Morris family?"
With just a few words, Terry broke Alivia's composure. She paused, tears fell uncontrollably.
She said nothing more, only cried.
Lydia, feeling her daughter's pain, cast a reproachful glance at her husband, who sighed helplessly.
