"Gerard, shall we go downstairs?" Lillie, now calling him by a more familiar name, affectionately linked her arm with Gerard's.

He was compliant, silent but clearly willing to follow Lillie's lead.

She quietly replied, "We've arranged a financial interview for tomorrow morning. You just need to stay by his side to ensure he can get through it smoothly."

Lillie nodded, then turned to Gerard with a sweet voice, "Gerard, you have an interview tomorrow. Shall I accompany you?"

Her tone and expression perfectly embodied the role of a lover, and at first glance, they truly seemed like a couple in love.
