Before Lilah could express her surprise, Gerard once again lapsed into a fit of unconscious rage, forcing Lilah to have him sedated to calm him down temporarily.
"This matter must be connected to the Hanson family," Miranda remarked.
At this moment, Calvin called to say they had found Justina's hiding place.
Without hesitation, Lilah and Miranda went to the location Calvin had mentioned that very night.
By the time they arrived, Justina had already been captured by Calvin, pinned to the ground. As they approached, she was desperately struggling, growling like a trapped beast.
"Let me go! What gives you the right to tie me up? Who are you people? Is there no justice?" Justina's voice was hysterical, sending shivers down one's spine.
"It seems Miss Justina has recovered well. That voice is quite strong," Lilah said with a sarcastic smile.
Justina immediately turned her gaze, glaring at Lilah. "It's you again! What did I do wrong for you to capture me?"
Lilah stepped forward, looking down at the fiery-eyed young woman. "I knew you wouldn't give up easily, so I brought something particularly unpleasant for you."
Before she finished speaking, Miranda took out a small bottle from her bag. "This is a lethal concoction I devised myself.
It's bitter and foul-tasting, but the effect is guaranteed.
Within an hour of ingestion, your intestines will twist in agonizing pain, making life feel worse than death."
Justina paled in fear, trying desperately to retreat. "What are you doing? I only escaped from your designated spot. I haven't done anything else!"
Even if she had, she would never admit it.
"Enough with the nonsense, " Miranda said impatiently, stepping forward to grab Justina's jaw. Justina was instantly terrified, her voice frantic.
"Sister, I haven't done anything. I only came here to find a friend for help, to give me a way out... Ah!"
Before she could finish, Miranda dislocated her jaw with a sudden force.
The intense pain made Justina tremble, tears streaming down her face like broken beads.
But this didn't deter Miranda. Like an unflinching executioner, she calmly extracted a pill and forced it into Justina's mouth.
Immediately, a strange and repulsive stench spread in Justina's mouth, as if she had eaten a thousand packs of the smelliest cheese.
Justina nearly vomited from the stench, but Miranda quickly closed her mouth again.
"Alright, just wait. In a few minutes, she won't be able to stand it." Miranda stood up, brushing off nonexistent dust from her hands.
However, the smell was so overwhelming. Even from just one pill, the bitter stench clung to her, permeating her entire being.
Lilah wanted to give Miranda some dignity, but the smell was too overpowering, forcing her to take a step back.
