Lilah's heart skipped a beat, and she instinctively turned to see the butler's frightened face.

He looked terrified, his steps unsteady as he ran over.

"What happened?" Gerard asked coldly. “How could he just disappear?"

The butler was almost in tears, his face twisted with worry. He wiped the sweat from his forehead before stammering, "Today, there were many guests.

At first, we had the young master in his room with a servant to play with him. Later, he said he wanted to see the other children, so I let two servants accompany him to ensure his safety."

"Just a few minutes ago, those two fools told me that the young master slipped into the crowd and disappeared. They searched everywhere but couldn't find him, so they had no choice but to report to me."

"Search!" Gerard's voice was cold and urgent. "Deploy more people, leave no stone unturned."

With that, all the servants of the Harris estate were summoned.

Some were tasked with checking the surveillance footage, while others conducted a thorough search, combing through the vast Harris estate from top to bottom.

Lilah was both anxious and worried. She felt a knot in her stomach, making it hard for her to breathe.

"Sis, don't worry. Jerrold is probably just hiding in some nook or cranny. With so many people looking, they're bound to find him," Miranda reassured Lilah, gently rubbing her back to comfort her.

Lilah forced a smile, but her brow remained furrowed.

So many guests had come today, and to ensure Jerrold's safety, she hadn't let him out to play. She had even assigned a few trusted aides to watch over him, yet this still happened.

Her greatest fear was that someone with ill intentions might have taken him away, which was terrifying.

An hour passed in the blink of an eye. The guests had all left, but Jerrold was still nowhere to be found.

Lilah grew increasingly uneasy, and even Grandmother was alarmed. She rushed back in a panic, her voice filled with urgency, "Lilah, has Jerrold been found yet?"

"Mom, don't worry. Gerard and Cason have already sent people to look for him," Lilah said, standing up with Miranda's help, holding Grandmother's trembling, cold hand to comfort her.

"Heavens, please protect him," Grandmother prayed, her voice choked with emotion.

As night fell, the Harris estate was brightly lit with lamps.

"We found him, we found him!" A voice of excitement rang out from outside.

Lilah was startled and quickly rushed out.

It was Livia who found Jerrold, in a crevice of the rock garden in the Harris family's backyard.

The gap was small, allowing entry but not exit. Somehow, Jerrold had gotten in, and it seemed he had fallen asleep inside. When he woke up to find it dark outside, he cried out in fear, which caught Livia's attention as she was passing by in her search.

But!
