His head hit the coffee table, causing him to gasp in pain.

Then, he slowly got up and knelt in front of Miranda, saying nothing, and began slapping himself.

Lilah sneered coldly, stepping forward to grab his hair, "Do you think this will make us forgive you? Let me tell you, you're done with my sister!"

Cason's pupils contracted, but he said nothing, continuing to slap himself. Soon, his handsome face was swollen beyond recognition.

"Sis, let's go." Miranda didn't want to deal with him, her heart heartbroken and disillusioned.

Lilah felt slightly relieved, at least Miranda wasn't so lovestruck that she couldn't see the need to cut her losses.

However, just then, a sharp pain shot through her stomach.

Her face changed instantly, feeling a warm flow between her legs.

"I-I have a stomachache," Lilah's face turned pale.

Everyone's expressions changed immediately, rushing Lilah to the hospital.

At the hospital.

Gerard waited anxiously outside the emergency room.

In less than two hours, his stubble had grown, and his eyes were bloodshot.

"Please, God, let everything be alright, let everything be alright!" Cason knelt at the end of the hallway, praying fervently.

He knew better than anyone that if anything went wrong with Lilah and the baby, he and Miranda would be completely finished.

Two hours later, Lilah emerged from the emergency room.

Seeing she was alright, Gerard's eyes turned even redder. Lilah looked at him, her gaze soft, "Don't worry, the baby and I are fine."

"Good!" Gerard held her hand tightly, "Thank goodness you're alright, darling. If anything happened to you, I wouldn't want to live either."

"Are you crazy?" Lilah frowned, a bit exasperated.

"Even if I am, I'm your fool." Gerard gazed deeply into her eyes, "We're supposed to spend our lives together. You can't leave me. Wherever you go, I'll follow."

Lilah was deeply moved, her eyes involuntarily moistening.

“Fool, of course, we'll be together."

"Always together."

Morning light filtered through a gap in the curtains, casting a gentle glow into the bedroom.
