“Honestly, I find Lilah's designs underwhelming! They're just flashy to draw in the crowds. Meanwhile, Katie's designs blend beauty with practicality. Her latest products have raked in over 5@ million in sales! That's genuinely impressive!"

"Why do Katie's fans always have to bring Lilah up? Complimenting one designer by putting down another, is that needed? Remember, Katie didn't bag the top spot in the Global Jewelry Designers Competition!"

“Well, Katie's no stranger to accolades! She's snagged loads of big-time awards. She wasn't in that competition when L.P won. Had she competed, she'd have easily clinched the victory!"

The fans of Katie and Lilah began clashing, with Katie's supporters slightly ahead, a tad triumphant.

What they didn't foresee was the exodus of designers following Lilah's departure from the company.

Lilah personally tweeted, "Heartfelt thanks to my colleagues for standing by me. About the gossip of me being axed from Flores Jewelry, I haven't seen a dime in severance. Plus, with my team rooting for me, I'm not about to let them down. Stay tuned for next month's inaugural Phillips Jewelry Design Exhibition. Can't wait to see you there!"

“There you go! Who says Lilah's not up to it? If she's such a dud, why would those designers choose to follow her?"

"Speaking as a Phoebe fan, Lilah's definitely got it. Phoebe's talent has soared lately, thanks to Lilah's mentorship. I don't get the negativity. Does a degree define a person's worth?"

"Seriously, Flores Jewelry? Was this drama needed? Lilah clearly left on her own, but you're painting it like she was fired?"

"Insider scoop: the company's chairwoman wanted Lilah for Deputy CEO, but she walked away. She's already running the Phillips Group and couldn't care less about a deputy position. Meanwhile, Flores Jewelry has lost its edge in design and cut ties with Aurora Jewelers. Looks like they're in for a rough ride."

"It looks like the chairwoman of Flores Jewelry wanted to bump Lilah down a peg. The local branch had to change its name after she left, and they were even barred from using the Aurora Jewelers brand. Lilah must really be something special for the company to let a branch dissolve like that. Makes you wonder if the chairwoman regrets her decision now."

The public opinion online began to shift a bit, and during this buzz, Lilah got a call from Andrew.

“How are you holding up?" Lilah inquired.

“You still worry about my health? Are you really saying goodbye to Aurora Jewelers? It breaks my heart, really."

"Yes, I'm afraid so. Phillips Group was my grandfather's legacy, and I can't turn my back on it," Lilah explained with a sigh.

Though she'd left the local branch of Aurora Jewelers, she remained on the payroll at the main office. Yet, she soon handed in her resignation there too.

Given her lack of time to contribute, it seemed best to step away.

“What if you stay with us in a less demanding role?" Andrew proposed.

“No fixed quota of designs per month. Design as you wish, and we'll handle the promotion and sales. And if you don't feel like designing, no pressure."

This offer was something quite new.

Tempted by the proposal, Lilah gave it some thought and agreed.

Part of her decision was influenced by her sentimental attachment to Aurora Jewelers, where she had built many fond memories and notable achievements.

They quickly hashed out the details and sealed the deal with an electronic contract. After that, Lilah refocused on her work.

Lilah soon discovered that Xavier Jewelers was also gearing up for a jewelry exhibition. Incredibly, they'd picked the same date and time as her!
