It had been a long time since she had slept so soundly.

Gerard was already up, and she quickly joined him. The aroma of breakfast filled the air as she stepped out of the bedroom. The table was set, the dishes covered with lids to keep the food warm.

Gerard focused on his phone, and Jerrold played with Lego blocks.

"Did you guys not have breakfast yet?" Lilah asked, noticing there was enough for all three of them.

“No. I just finished cooking," Gerard replied. “Go wash up and get ready to eat."

“Really? Next time, if you wake up early, you can have breakfast first without waiting for me," Lilah suggested.

Jerrold chimed in, “Really, Mommy, I just woke up. We figured you would wake up soon."

Lilah smiled, saying, "Alright, let me freshen up, and we'll eat together in a moment."

During breakfast, Gerard proposed, "Do you want to go to the club later? They have archery and video games."

“Sure, are your friends going too?" Lilah inquired.

As expected, Gerard nodded and said, “Walter and Bryan are going, just them two."

“No problem. Then let's take our son with us," Lilah suggested, looking at Jerrold, who immediately smiled happily.

After breakfast, the family was ready to go.

Jerrold hurried to his room, changing into the blue outfit and putting on a down jacket.

The blue T-shirt was a parent-child set that Lilah had bought.

Jerrold's eyes gleamed as he looked at her. However, Gerard pinched his ear, saying, "You're wearing this in the middle of winter; aren't you afraid of the cold?"

Jerrold swiftly bundled up in his down jacket, subtly asserting that he possessed the warmth of a down jacket and wasn't daunted by the cold. Seizing the opportunity to tease his father, he remarked, “If you feel cold, Daddy, you don't have to wear your set."

Gerard found himself rendered speechless. Was this mischievous child truly his biological offspring? Was he trying to annoy him so much?

When Jerrold remained silent, he was a source of annoyance; when he spoke, he became even more bothersome!

Lilah chuckled on the side and then retreated to her apartment to change into her blue skirt. Upon her return, she discovered Gerard had also switched into a blue casual outfit from an undisclosed source.

"Are you not cold like this?" Lilah queried, playfully pinching his clothes.

"I'm not cold," Gerard asserted, holding her hand. “Shall we go?"

Lilah's ears felt a bit warm, and she nodded. "Let's go."

The club exuded an upscale atmosphere, featuring expansive space and a variety of amusement facilities. The people predominantly comprised wealthy individuals.
