Laura pretended to be perplexed at the sudden turn of events, but a hint of a smile flitted across her face.

She turned to glance at Gerard to see how he looked. No man would take kindly to the claim that his girlfriend had been involved with different men.

However, Gerard stepped forward and confronted George. “You say you know my girlfriend, eh? Where's the evidence of that?" he demanded.

"Of course, I... I know her!" George stuttered.

"If he has no evidence, take him to the police station and let him be charged for slander!" Gerard ordered his bodyguards.

The crowd was stunned by his unexpected response. Was his trust for Lilah so strong and deep?

Before the bodyguards could bundle him off, George cried out, “It's this hotel. Back then, Lilah invited me here, and that was how we had sex. But afterward, I couldn't reach her anymore!"

She'd previously had a child with another man, and yet, she was seeking to marry Gerard? How shameless she was!

Julie turned to Brenda and said, "Brenda, it's just like I told you before. These women nowadays cannot be trusted. I've always said that Lilah doesn't deserve Gerard at all. Now, you can see what's going on."
