Nevertheless, Jenna quickly told her, "Elva, don't let Lilah fool you.
She must have come highly prepared. Even if you agree to a handwriting analysis, she will use her influence to change the results. You are A Fond Dream. There's no need to prove it! The person who questioned it should be the one to provide proof!"
Jenna wasn't wrong after all. The onus was on the accuser to prove her accusation.
Lilah chuckled, saying, "Well, that makes sense."
There was a computer nearby, so Lilah connected her phone to it and began working.
No one knew exactly what she was up to. But after a while, she turned the screen to the audience and said, "Everyone can see that this WhatsApp account was originally mine, but someone hacked my phone and stole it."
There were people in the audience who knew a thing or two about computers. Some of them approached the computer, observed it, and agreed with her assessment, saying, "Yes, that's right. Someone hacked her account and stole it."
But who could have stolen the account?
Immediately, all eyes fell on Elva.
Jenna still couldn't believe it. "How is that even possible? Lilah must be deceiving people one way or another!" she declared pointedly.
But just then, the police suddenly arrived.
"Who is Elva Glyn?" one of the policemen asked.
Elva's face changed drastically, and this reaction immediately caught the attention of the officers. They quickly walked up to her and handcuffed her. "You are Elva Glyn, right?" they asked her as they put the cuffs around her wrists. But she was too shocked to respond.
Jenna was also shocked. But she quickly recovered herself and intervened, saying, “Hold on, sirs, what did my sister do?"
"Is she your sister? Well, your sister here bribed a hacker to steal someone's account for the sake of obtaining fame and fortune. Our cybercrimes department already has sufficient evidence to prosecute her," one of the officers explained. It seemed that the police meant business.
Jenna was shocked to hear the allegations. How could it be?
She quickly came to a conclusion. She believed Lilah was the one who had reported Elva to the police!
She immediately turned to look at Lilah.
“Lilah, how could you bring the police to arrest my sister!" she shouted at her.
“If your sister didn't do anything wrong, would the police arrest her?"
Lilah retorted.
Meanwhile, Elva's face was deathly pale and her whole body had gone limp. She never expected things to escalate to this point. She just wanted to do a little impersonation. She never thought it would end like this.
Lilah looked at her with a smile and said, "Well, let me remind you that the account you stole belongs to A Fond Dream, who happens to be me. And when you're found guilty of impersonation, considering my influence, you'll at least spend half a year in jail."
Six months in jail? Insane!
