Gerard let out a small sigh. "Alright."

His girlfriend took the initiative to kiss him when he was cross—dressing. So, he had now accepted what he looked like. In fact, he was even beginning to enjoy it.

Lilah, on her part, couldn't help but find Gerard more adorable the more she looked at him.

Eventually, the pair headed to the mall.

Wherever they went, people were always looking at them. They were widely seen as exceptionally good-looking.

“Wow, they're such a beautiful couple!" some people exclaimed in admiration.

Some even took out their phones to take pictures of the couple.

Most of the men had their gazes fixed on Gerard whom they thought was a woman. But when it came to Lilah, they looked at her with a hint of disdain.

Even though Lilah wore shoes with lifts, she was still shorter than Gerard by a full head.

One of the men remarked, “Women nowadays have no taste! How can they be interested in such short men?"

“Exactly! Even I am much more handsome than he is!" his friend echoed.

Lilah was shocked to hear them say this. What the hell were they talking about? Were they calling her short and Gerard stupid?

But she didn't bother to waste time arguing with them. For Gerard though, it was different. He couldn't stand seeing Lilah being talked about like that. So he leaned toward her and whispered, "Kiss me."

Lilah quickly gave him a kiss.

As they kissed, they could almost hear the sounds of hearts breaking nearby.

"How can a beautiful woman like this be so naive and have her head filled with nonsense love?" one of the men said bitterly.

"So disgusting! Hey, beauty. Look at me right here. I'm much better than your boyfriend!" his friend called after Gerard.

Hearing the envy in their voices, Lilah couldn't help but shake her head.

But Gerard no longer paid any attention to them. He took Lilah into a luxury goods store and just said something to the staff member at the counter. Immediately, the staff member brought out a pre-arranged gift. Gerard took the gift and handed it to Lilah, saying, “Happy Valentine's Day."

"A gift for me? Wow. Thank you!" Lilah said, using a voice changer.

When she opened the gift box, what she saw inside was... a car key.

Was it the key to a real car or just a jewelry piece made in the form of a car key?

“This should be an accessory, right?" she asked Gerard. She felt this was the only explanation that made sense.

But Gerard calmly shook his head in the negative and said, "No, this is the key of a car that's just been launched. I'm sure you'll like it. I'll take you for a test drive later."
