“First of all, let's go to the cinema," she said matter-of-factly.

“Okay." Gerard nodded obediently.

So, without wasting time, they went to get tickets for one of the latest popular romantic movies.

When they took their seats in the cinema hall, there was a man seated right next to Gerard.

The first time the man saw Gerard, he was stunned. Even in the dim environment, it was obvious that Gerard was not your typical lady, not to mention the charming face.

Immediately, the man's breath quickened. He felt as if he had finally met his soulmate.

Throughout the entire movie, he couldn't help but keep staring at Gerard.

When the movie was about to come to an end, he couldn't stand it anymore and decided to put his hand on Gerard's lap.

Knowing how beautiful ladies would react in such a situation, he flashed Gerard a smile that he thought made him look handsome. Then he took out his phone and whispered in Gerard's ear, “Hey, gorgeous, I'll give you five thousand dollars to spend the night with me. What do you say? Put your number... Ah!"

The man suddenly screamed in pain. And when he looked at his hand, he saw that it was now hanging down limply by his side. He never expected that the beautiful woman would do this to his hand.

It was at this point that the man's girlfriend realized that something was happening and she quickly asked, “What's going on?"

“Keep an eye on your boyfriend," Gerard said in a cold tone.

The woman immediately understood what was going on and her face turned livid. She looked at her boyfriend and spat at him through gritted teeth, "You're such a disgusting creature. You have no shame!"

The woman then turned around and left the hall. The man quickly got up and ran after her.

Lilah had been focusing on the movie, so she had no idea what exactly the man had done. She quickly turned to Gerard and asked him in concern, “He didn't do anything to you, did he?"

Gerard didn't want her to worry too much, so he shook his head in the negative.

But this incident had shown him just how difficult it was for women out here in public. So he held Lilah in his arms and whispered to her, “Babe, from now on, you'd better take a few bodyguards with you whenever you go out."

"Why?" Lilah asked in surprise.

"Because I don't think it's safe."

Lilah probably understood what he meant.

What had just happened was enough to get him worried for the safety of his woman.

“Don't worry. I'm a skilled fighter. They can't do anything to me,"

Lilah assured him smilingly. “And besides, I have you."

Gerard looked into her eyes and nodded in acknowledgement.
