Frankly, the lone bomb was powerful enough to bring down the entire building.

Lilah looked around and she didn't see any other bomb.

Meanwhile, the leader was now on the phone talking with his man at the location he had directed Gerard to. "Did Gerard come there? What?

Fake one? So where the hell is he now?"

"What do you think?" a cold voice suddenly asked from somewhere behind him. A man had just broken through the window and grabbed the leader from behind! The two of them immediately began to fight, at such an astonishing speed that only the flashes of their movements could be seen.

Laura had not seen Gerard fight before. She knew he was a skilled fighter, but she never knew he could compete with these mercenaries.

At the end of the day, he successfully subdued the leader and put a gun to his head. “Let the women go right now. Otherwise, I'll kill your leader!" he threatened.

The mercenaries looked at him in confusion, not knowing what to do.

But their leader ordered them, "Don't release the women. It doesn't matter if I die. We must complete the task!"

Clearly, these people were both mindless and ruthless! Lilah thought.

Seeing the men going toward her, Lilah moved the dagger closer to the wire of the bomb and asked with a sneer, “Are you really coming over?"

They stopped and hesitated.

This bomb was what they planned to use to threaten their victims.

But now, the same bomb was being used against them!

All of a sudden, the door was broken down and countless men in black rushed in and surrounded all the mercenaries.

“Put down your weapons and surrender immediately if you love your lives!" Gerard warned them.

But the leader swiftly grabbed the remote control and pressed the switch.

He was ready to die along with everyone in the room.

After he pressed the button, the bomb began to count down.

Five... Four... Three... Two...

At this point, Laura was so shaken by fear that she was about to cry.

She never expected that she would die at such a young age.

She loved her life so much and wanted to live!
