Lilah then headed to the skincare product department, where only a few key employees remained.
Upon arrival, she found them in the middle of an argument.
“Are you serious? Have you forgotten how much Robert helped us?
Without him, would you own your homes and cars? He was so kind to us.
How can you betray him like this?" a woman with short hair argued passionately.
A woman with curly golden hair, accompanied by several employees, stood opposite the short-haired woman, looking disdainful. "Adelynn, maybe you lack ambition, but we're different. We've wasted years here, and now we have better opportunities. Why should we stay?" she retorted, and her colleagues nodded in agreement.
Adelynn Vasquez, visibly upset, responded sharply, “Can you Live with that decision? We've had easy jobs with pay above industry standards, all thanks to Robert's generosity. He and the Phillips Group have always treated us fairly. Abia, we're working on new products. Your leaving now could ruin everything."
Abia Crawford, the woman with golden hair, replied confidently, "One must always aim higher. I'm moving on to my dream job at White Dew, part of the Morris Group. I contributed to the new product we're developing here, and I plan to use that experience at White Dew."
"You!" Adelynn was seething with anger.
Then, a calm yet authoritative voice intervened, “If they're set on leaving, let them go."
Everyone turned to see Lilah standing at the door.
Abia, initially startled, regained her composure. “Miss Phillips, it's a sudden move, and I apologize, but we need to pursue better careers. I'm sure you understand," she said.
“Of course. Just be sure you won't regret this decision later," Lilah replied calmly.
"I won't regret it."
"Anyone who wishes to leave may do so. But those who stay, rest assured, you will be well taken care of. Our skincare brand will reclaim its fame," Lilah declared confidently.
Everyone exchanged glances, and those accompanying Abia swiftly packed their belongings and departed without hesitation. In the end, only Adelynn and a handful of employees remained in the office.
With a heavy heart, Adelynn lamented, “Miss Phillips, they've taken the ingredients we need for our new product."
Lilah brushed it off. "No worries. We don't need that. You can develop it based on this."
She produced a document and handed it to Adelynn.
Adelynn opened the document; her face initially reflected despair, but it quickly shifted to shock. She hurriedly inquired, "Miss Phillips, did you invite a master to formulate these ingredients for us?"
Adelynn sensed that these ingredients could yield an exceptional skincare product. Whoever devised this formula was undoubtedly a master.
"You needn't concern yourself with the source. Just develop the product according to this formula. I want our new product on the market next month."
"Understood!" Adelynn regained her composure.
Lilah returned to her office and resumed her work.
