Everyone's eyes lit up when they heard this.

As for Onyx, his cold face broke into a bitter smile and he said in reply, "It seems Lilah doesn't know much about funds. Funds are not so stable. Naturally, the market is very volatile. In the past five years, many funds have gone bankrupt, but I have still been able to keep our return rate at a minimum of 10%, which is already one of the top ten highest rates in the country. Of course, I believe in the strength of Lilah. If she takes over, the Dillon Group will no longer manage the fund."

The others felt that what Onyx had said was quite reasonable. After all, how would Lilah, a young woman, really understand much about funds?

What if the Dillon Group really stopped managing the fund and Lilah lost all the money? At that point, everyone would be badly affected.

This made everyone fall to thinking.

But Matthew suddenly said, “Even if Lilah doesn't understand funds, Gerard is with her. He will definitely help her sort it out."

Marlene quickly cut in, “By the way, Kaden even has his own fund, and he is highly experienced."

It had almost become like an election between the two men-Gerard and Kaden.

Lilah was surprised by Matthew's words, but she said nothing.

Soon, everyone began to raise their hands to vote.

“If you support Onyx's bid to continue as the leader of the family, please raise your hand," one of the attendees, who was acting as umpire, announced.

Marlene and some of the others immediately raised their hands.

In total, there were nineteen people present and nine of them had raised their hands.

Onyx gave the remaining ten a cold glare.

But he wasn't very worried though.

Naturally, some people would choose to abstain. So he was sure that it would be impossible for all ten of them to choose Lilah.

This gave him a lot of confidence and he became certain that Lilah wouldn't be able to defeat him.

“If you support Lilah in her bid to take over, please raise your hand," the umpire announced.

Matthew raised his hand immediately.

One by one, the others also raised their hands.

Onyx's face went dark as he watched what was going on.

ALL ten members had raised their hands in Lilah's support!

"The final result is nine to ten in favor of Lilah. Congratulations, Lilah. You have now become our new leader!"

Immediately, the crowd erupted into a loud applause.
