“How does Adaline even stack up next to Lilah?"

"Cracks me up that some folks think Adaline holds a candle to Lilah.

Are they seeing straight? Adaline's good, but she's not Lilah-good!"

Meanwhile, Adaline, in her hotel room, was done setting her stuff down. She gave her phone a look and there they were: Lilah's jaw-dropping wins. Each one was the stuff of legends. Who knew Lilah had such a stacked resume that made her more than fit to be a judge?

Adaline felt a chill down her spine.

Adaline had no business feeling jealous at this point.

Yet, when Adaline stopped to really think about it, what more did Lilah have in her life besides design? Lilah was nothing more than a struggler, pouring her soul into her designs.

In stark contrast, Adaline was the cherished princess of the Phillips family, with a boyfriend from the esteemed Lewis family. She stood at the pinnacle of society.

With these thoughts, Adaline's spirits lifted. She made up her mind to regard Lilah as just another judge.

Just then, Adaline's phone broke into a ring.

A soft voice drifted from the other side. "Adaline, are you there yet?"

"Yes, Iker."

"Step outside."

A small surprise took hold of Adaline. "You're here?"

“Right, I'm at your hotel entrance."

Joy lit up Adaline's heart. Since Lilah had come back, so much had transpired, seemingly driving a wedge between them. Iker once showered her with gifts and surprises, but that hadn't happened in ages. She feared Iker's interest was waning, but now, it appeared she was mistaken.

She hurriedly primped herself and dashed downstairs.

Reaching the entrance, she spotted Iker, splendid in a white suit, standing beside a fiery red Porsche.

He was a sight, stealing many a look from women on the street.

Adaline couldn't help but smile and sprint toward him, embracing him with all her might.

“Iker, I've missed you terribly."

“The feeling's mutual." Iker returned the smile, though his eyes wandered past her in the direction of the hotel.

“What's caught your eye?" inquired a puzzled Adaline.

Snapping back to the moment, Iker redirected his attention to her.
