"Nah, thanks for the offer, Onyx." Janis was firm in her stance.
“You know you're going to lose even more cash. Why the stubborn streak?" Onyx persisted.
“Onyx, quit wasting your breath. The older she gets, the dumber she becomes. She'll regret this later!" Keith exploded with anger.
Just then, a knock sounded on the door and Emma entered.
"Miss Phillips, our fund's about to tank within twenty four hours!
Holding onto those stocks means losing money," Emma warned, despite her optimism about Lilah's abilities. Managing stock trends wasn't easy.
Lilah remained composed. "Send me the fund's trend chart later and keep monitoring it closely."
She believed this fund was about to rise.
Emma looked puzzled. “Miss Phillips, this fund's hit rock bottom.
There's no profit in sight. Why bother keeping tabs on it?"
Wouldn't it be smarter to switch to a different stock now?
“It's not going to tank," Lilah stated confidently.
"What? How's that even possible?"
Emma's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Just send me the trend chart, and when it hits the limit down, report it to me."
Emma was still puzzled but simply replied, "Sure thing."
Lilah nodded.
"You can go now."
A few minutes later, she received the trend chart from Emma.
Lilah studied the data on her computer screen, analyzing it carefully.
After a moment, she was sure it wouldn't flop.
Lilah's phone suddenly rang. A glance at the caller ID put a smile on her face. "Gerard."
“Lilah, let's go out for dinner today. I'll come pick you up after work."
“How about we buy the ingredients and cook at home, instead?" Lilah enjoyed cooking at home. She found it cozy and relaxing. But with her recent busy schedule, they hadn't found the time to do so in a long time.
