The following morning, Gerard slipped out of his suit jacket and hooked it onto the coat rack. Afterward, he headed to his desk and started working.

After a while, someone knocked on the door.

He glanced at the door and said, "Come in."

Walter nudged the door open and gave Richard a quick glance. “Mr. Harris, I'll get back to my work now."

"Go ahead," Richard said.

Richard stepped inside, accompanied by Bexley.

Bexley looked at Gerard sitting in front of her against the light.

He wore a white shirt and tie, and his expression appeared as cold as ice.

His deep eyes were incredibly sharp.

He exuded a potent energy that Bexley had never encountered before.

Bexley's cheeks turned red, and her heart raced.

What a handsome man!

What a powerful aura!

Richard turned to Gerard and said, “Gerard, this is Bexley. Bexley, this is my son, Gerard."

Rising from his seat, Gerard went over to Bexley and greeted her with a brief glance, "Hello."

Bexley composed herself and greeted him with a smile, "Nice to meet you, Gerard."

Giving a slight nod, Gerard shifted his gaze to his father. "Dad, have a seat."

Richard waved off the idea, and said, "I don't want to interrupt what you're doing. Just find a place for her."

“Okay, Dad," Gerard said.

Richard looked at Bexley and said, “If you ever come across any bullying or unfairness, let Gerard know. And if he's too busy, feel free to reach out to me. Don't worry. You're welcome to do anything here."

Bexley smiled and expressed her gratitude. “Thank you."

"Alright, Gerard will make sure everything is arranged perfectly for you."

Richard turned around and made his way out of the office.

Gerard said, "Dad, allow me to escort you out."
