Chapter 113

"Call the police! Get Natalie back here!"Sebastian was furious.

Natalie was in the office whining to Dylan on the phone about her woes when she was startled by Sebastian's bellow from outside.

"Natalie, please come out. There are certainthings we need you to clarify." Sylvester opened the door of the manager's office.

Natalie gave Sylvester a look of disgust. He was standing by the door to the office.

She thought, "If he hadn't received Robert, none of these would have happened!"

Now, she had lost thousands of dollars as well as her job.

"What are you doing?" Natalie glared atSylvester impatiently.

Sylvester sneered, "What a fool! She's still so cocky even in the face of her demise!"

"I need to investigate something," Sylvesteranswered measuredly."Natalie, come here."

"Uncle Dylan, I'll talk to you later." Afterhanging up the phone, Natalie walked out grudgingly. She glanced at Sebastian

impatiently."If you have anything to say, just cut to the chase. I'm in a hurry to attend a lunch appointment."

"Natalie, the recording pen belongs to thecompany. Hand it over." Sebastian stretched out his hand.

Natalie rolled her eyes."I thought it was something important! As if I'd care about a useless recording pen."

The auto shop staff were required to bring a recording pen to work. It would start recording at the beginning of each work day to assist in spot checks to ensure that none of the salespeople were being lackadaisical when serving their customers.

Natalie took out the recording pen from her breast pocket and slammed it on the table, turning to leave.

"Wait a minute! You can't leave yet!" Sebastianstopped Natalie.

Natalie rolled her eyes again."What do you mean? I'm no longer an employee of the company. Are you still going to order me around?"

Sylvester took the recording pen and quickly began searching through it.

Soon, a recording of a phone conversation began playing. Everyone present could hear it.

Since the recording pen was placed in Natalie's breast pocket, her recorded voice was clear and crisp.

"Natalie, I heard you're the manager of theMercedes-Benz auto shop. I'm ordering a car for my boss today. Perhaps you can give me more discounts and charge me more on the invoices? After that, we split the extra money equally. What do you say?"

"Sure. What car model are you looking for?"

The contents of the recording were clear as day.

Natalie's arrogant expression fell once more.

She'd completely forgotten about the recording pen during the call.

"Natalie, what else can you say for yourself? You sure feel comfortable treating the company as your own! No wonder you didn't want to sell the car to Mr. Zabinski. You are seriously damaging the company's interests! No one can protect you anymore!" Sebastian pointed down Natalie's nose and chastised her loudly.

Natalie couldn't help but step back. She truly felt fear at that time.

The young man who'd come to buy a car from Natalie was about to make a run for it as the situation was beginning to turn on him.

Outside the door, a siren sounded. Natalie's legs gave out, and she collapsed in a heap.

Although the police officers had not gotten out of the car, their job acumen sensed something fish y about the absconding young man. Therefore, they caught up to him and held him down.

Sebastian walked up and explained his situation to several police officers.

"Take her away!" The police officer who led theteam glared sternly at Natalie, who was still on the ground.

Two police officers went up to Natalie and forced her to stand.

"What are you doing? Let go of me! Do youknow who my uncle is?" Natalie became hysterical and struggled non-stop when pushed to stand against her will.
