Kendrick, dressed in a suit, had been in the banquet hall for a long time. He was responsible for the reception and talking with people that arrived.

Marilyn's parents also changed into formal clothes and started making connections in the banquet hall.

There was a lively and festive atmosphere in the banquet hall as Naomi walked in.

"Oh? Ms. Labelle!" Kendrick immediatelygreeted Naomi warmly when he saw her. Even though he was used to seeing women, he couldn't help but be stunned when he saw her that day.

Naomi's short hair did not lose her unique charm as a woman—it also added a touch of heroism. There was a silver pendant hanging in front of her tanned neck. The necklace was long, and others couldn't help but want to know where the silver pendant fell. The black dress added some nobility to her as well, causing others to have a strong urge to conquer her.

However, Kendrick was still the heir of the Zabel Group. He did look, but only for a moment, before he moved his gaze, but not the others. The others all focused their gazes on Naomi.

"Hmph! Does she think she's so noble? ZabinskiGroup is almost falling apart!" Letitia said unhappily. She was also standing next to Kendrick at Majestic Hotel, and she had even dressed up.

Women would be women. They loved to compare.

After arriving at the hall, Letitia would compare herself with other women present. Her confidence was not only from her family background but also her appearance.

But right then, she noticed that she was not winning in any aspect, which made her very unhappy.

Cameron licked his lips. He liked beautiful women and had coveted Naomi long ago. His family was rich, but his wealth was still not on pa r with The Treasure Trove's, so he didn't dare to provoke Naomi at all.

Naomi heard Kendrick's voice and looked over. Upon seeing him standing there alone, she couldn't help but ask, "Why are you alone, Mr. Zabel? Where is Ms. Quesnell?"

"Ms. Quesnell?" Kendrick was confused, but hethen realized that something was wrong. He shouldn't have answered her, but it was too late.

Naomi nodded and said, "Yeah, Ms. Quesnell. She's my predecessor, you know? I've made my darling unhappy these days, so I want to ask Ms. Quesnell for some advice. I want to know how she used to coax my darling."

Kendrick's face darkened when he heard that.
