Naomi smiled indifferently. "Huh... Between you and Kendrick? Don't think I don't know you, Robert. Even if you're better than Kendrick, it doesn't matter. You still can't let Marilyn go. You will forever be a loser as long as she still has something to do with Kendrick."

"It's not that exaggerated." Robert waved hishand. "Anyway, Kendrick and I are the same. She did nothing wrong, so don't involve her anymore."

"She has done nothing wrong?" Naomi's eyeswidened."Don't think I don't know. On the day of the fire in Khandud Mall, you ran in and saved her from that fire! But what about her? Not only did she not thank you, but she even severed all her connections with you. Even that mother of hers wanted to sue you, and you're saying she did nothing wrong? You're more generous than the heavens."

Robert's face darkened. "Naomi, can you stop the sarcasm?"

"I thought you were a fair person." Naomi rolledher eyes at Robert.

Upon hearing that, Robert shrank his neck and said nothing.

He didn't know that Naomi had done all that for him, but she wouldn't benefit from doing all that.

After thinking of Marilyn, Robert sighed inwardly again.

"Maybe she has her own reasons. If she reallydidn't have any sort of feelings toward me anymore, then what about Maribert Media? Who could explain that?" Robert thought.

That was clearly a retreat route Marilyn had left for him, and she had even hidden it away from her parents. Otherwise, aside from Spencer, with Lena's personality, she would have made Marilyn hand over the asset that was worth millions of dollars.

Upon thinking of that, Robert walked to the elevator.

Naomi glanced at Sophia standing at the el evator and knew that Robert still had something to do, so she left with an excuse.

In the office on the top floor of the Grand Triumphant Hotel, Robert stood in front of the huge floor-to-ceiling window and listened to Sophia's report.

"Mr. Zabinski, Zabel Group is currently airingthe whole process. What's their purpose?"Sophia was confused.

"It's very simple." Robert smiled. "Kendrickmisunderstood."

"What?" Sophia was stunned for a moment.

Robert explained, "Zabel Group has invested in the holiday resort, resolving the lack of work issues for the people there. This time, Kendrick may think that Mr. Sullivan came specially for him since he also solved some of the indicated difficulties. At this point, we should thank Kendrick. He arranged a lot of media and has solved our follow-up publicity problems. This was really a big gift."

Upon hearing that, Sophia immediately understood.

She had misunderstood before. She subconsciously thought that others also knew the news she knew. After thinking of Kendrick's intention, Sophia couldn't help but smile."Mr. Zabinski, what expression do you think he will have when he finds out the truth? I really want to see it."

Robert nodded."Same here. Why don't we go and have a look now?"

Robert and Sophia then looked at each other.

"Mr. Sullivan is downstairs." Sophia stretchedout her hand and made a gesture.

Robert just nodded and walked out of the office.

Standing in front of the room where Michael was staying, Robert took a deep breath and knocked on the door."Mr. Sullivan, it's me, Robert."

Hasty footsteps could be heard before the door was opened, and Michael appeared in front of Robert.

After seeing Robert, Michael hurriedly stretched out his hands and said, "Mr. Zabinski, we finally meet again!"

Robert hurriedly bowed and said, "Mr. Sullivan, what are you saying?"

"Mr. Zabinski, thank you very much. We allthink highly of your contribution to the people in the mountainous district!" Michael held Robert's hand tightly.
