Even after Robert walked away, Sophia still felt a peculiar sense of unreality.

"Am I going to be in control of such a vastamount of funds starting today?" Sophia pondered silently.

Sophia still felt somewhat dreamlike as she looked at the steak before her. She followed Robert's example and adjusted her posture as she held the knife and fork, slowly cutting a small piece of steak and savoring it in her mouth. She complemented it with a sip of red wine, relishing the delicious flavors that danced on her taste buds.

It was not yet noon by the time Sophia finished her meal. She went straight to her rental home, where she still had a lot of stuff inside.

Sophia took a taxi to the building where she rented the house. Before entering the entrance, she heard the roaring sound of an engine. She turned her head and saw that the parked Mercedes-Benz S-Class had been engine started. Inside the car were her two housemates.

Sophia raised an eyebrow and strode over, forcefully opening the car door.

Sasha was about to start the car when she suddenly noticed the door being opened. She turned her head and saw Sophia standing beside the car.

"Are you crazy?" Sasha rolled her eyes at Sophia."Can't you see I was about to drive? Opening thecar door like that? Who's going to take the responsibility if something happens?"

"Drive?" Sophia chuckled in exasperation."Is thisyour car? You're driving?"

"What's the big deal? If no one else is driving,why can't I drive?" Sasha retorted with a righteous attitude. "You're making it sound like driving this piece of junk is special!"

As Sasha spoke, she slammed her hand on the steering wheel and forcefully pushed the car door to its maximum angle. She shouted at Sophia, "Move aside! Don't block me from getting out!"

Sophia took a deep breath and said nothing.

Sasha and Juliette got out of the car, and Sasha stared at Sophia, extending her hand. "Hand over the money!"

Sophia frowned, "Money?" What money?"

"Sophia, don't play dumb here!" Juliette put herhands on her hips."You owe us the parking fees for these past few days and the two gas tanks, too! Not even 1 cent less!"

"Parking fees?" Sophia laughed."Parkingdownstairs is free, right?"

"Is parking free in residential areas? Is it free atthe mall? Is it free at the bar parking lot?" Juliette fired three questions in a row.

Sophia finally grasped the situation."So, let me get this straight. You secretly took my car out, and now I have to pay the parking fees and refuel it for you, right?"

"Stop the nonsense!" Sasha said impatiently."Hand over the money now, or else I'll keep thecar keys. You can only take the car back when you settle the payment."

Sophia's instinct was to fight for a reason upon hearing those words. However, as she looked at her two arrogant housemates before her, Robert's words echoed in her mind."From now on, you'll also be a deputy general manager. Remember, project a strong image. You represent not only yourself but also Alacer Corporation and the reputation of Zabinski Group."

The words lingered in Sophia's mind, and her expression gradually turned cold. She stared at her roommates and spoke chillingly, "Considering our past relationship, I won't dwellon the fact that you used my car without permission. As for the expenses you mentioned, that's your problem. Now, give me the car keys!"

Sophia's unusual behavior caught both women off guard, and they were momentarily stunned.
