Having served as an assistant to the director for over two months, Sophia held a high position in the company. Although she was an assistant, even regular managers would approach her with respect and politeness.

The two months of service had instilled a certain aura in Sophia, which might not be intimidating to those who had faced more significant challenges. Still, it made her two housemates involuntarily shrink back.

"Give it to me!" Sophia spoke again.

Sasha couldn't help shivering and subconsciously handed over the key.

Sophia snatched the car keys, swiftly closed the car door, and pressed the lock button. She warned, "I'm telling you both, this is the last time! If you continue to show no gratitude, don't blame me for not being friendly!"

After saying that, Sophia strode towards the corridor.

As they watched Sophia leave, both women felt a wave of humiliation wash over them. They had been bossing Sophia around and taking

advantage of her all along. They couldn't believe that they had been frightened by her like this.

Juliette finally reacted and shouted at Sophia's retreating figure, "Who do you think you're pretending to be? You're just a bitch who seduced the boss! Now that you've gained some power, you think you're all that? Acting all high and mighty in front of us? Who doesn't know what kind of person you are? Just a graduate from a diplom a mill!"

Juliette's outburst attracted the attention of several onlookers, who turned their heads to see what was happening.

Sophia's footsteps abruptly halted at the entrance of the hallway. She turned around and glanced at Juliette before striding purposefully towards her.

As Juliette saw Sophia approaching, she felt a twinge of unease creeping into her heart. This unfamiliar sensation was hard to accept, but she continued her verbal assault. "You're just a wretched woman! And that director of yours at Zabinski Group, what are you even..."

A crisp sound interrupted Juliette's words.

Sophia stood in front of Juliette, her right hand lowered.

Juliette held her left cheek, feeling a stinging pain. She looked at Sophia with disbelief and exclaimed,"You... How dare you slap me?"

Even Sasha was taken aback. She had always seen Sophia as someone who endured mistreatment without retaliating, but today, there was a remarkable turnaround. Sophia used physical force and fought back.

Sophia stared coldly at Juliette and spoke in a commanding tone, "So what? Say another word, and I'll hit you again. Do you believe me or not?"

"You..." Juliette was about to blurt out someharsh words. However, she couldn't utter those words when she saw Sophia's icy gaze.

Sophia extended her hand and began adjusting the collar of Juliette's blouse. She spoke firmly, "I warn you, think twice before you speak. I, Sophia, carry myself with dignity and sit upright. As for who I am, the official media has already reported it. As for the things you said, I understand. It's a mix of incompetence and fury. You used to think that your life would be better than mine, but now, you're living like two pieces of garbage compared to me. This comparison may be hurtful, but I believe it's

appropriate. You are a college graduate in your twenties, yet you don't strive to improve yourselves. Instead, you spend your days indulging in excess, borrowing money, and living off others. If you're not garbage, then what are you? When you see others living better lives, all you can do is throw dirt and blame others."

Sophia withdrew her hands and smirked contemptuously."If you lack the ability, then go and learn. If you lack opportunities, then prepare for them. In another ten years, your pocket money may not even match a student's. Remember, control your mouth. Don't think that the words you speak don't come with consequences. Understand?"

After finishing her words, Sophia didn't spare another glance at the two women and turned around to leave.
