As time passed, the program Robert wrote produced the data, which was submitted to the platform manager.
The platform manager informed them that the data would return to normal in ten minutes.
Hearing the news, everyone was delighted, including Melissa, who was sitting in the corner.
However, Melissa was not happy because the data was recovered, but because Ryan, the platform administrator, just promised her that he would not drive traffic to their channel if she was out.
For this, Melissa agreed to some of Ryan's requests.
Fred checked the time with everyone else.
He exclaimed, " Guys, get ready to start in half an hour!" Everyone was busy preparing for this live streaming.
Ten minutes later, Fred got a call, and the words of the person on the other end of the phone made him panic.
After hanging up the phone, Fred came to Marilyn and whispered, " Ms. Quesnell, I just received a call from the platform supervisor. According to him, we would lose traffic because we changed the live streamer. The platform won't drive traffic to our channel unless we switch back to the original streamer." Marilyn raised her eyebrows and asked, " How did he know we changed the live streamer?" Fred smiled bitterly and glanced at Melissa.
Melissa strode over proudly like a white swan.
" Ms. Quesnell, Mr. Glenn, you seem to be in trouble. Do you guys need my help?" Melissa asked with a wink.
Fred looked at Melissa and said sincerely," Melissa, come here. You were just a receptionist before. It was Ms. Quesnell who appreciated you and made you what you are now. If I remember correctly, your monthly salary before was only600 dollars, right? Now, your monthly income, including the commission from live streaming, was more than 10,000 dollars. In the past six months, you worked hard, but your success was inseparable from the company and the team. You know how important this live streaming is to the company. How can you be the black sheep of the company?" Melissa sneered, " Mr. Glenn, I did nothing wrong. Besides, I just put forward my requirements. I work for money. Did I do anything wrong?" Mr. Glenn nodded in agreement, but then he continued, " You' re right, but you gotta behave yourself. Do you have any idea what you' ve done? You' re threatening Ms. Quesnell. The company will go bankrupt if every employee acts like you!" Melissa shook her head, stared at Marilyn, and said sternly, " This has nothing to do with me. Ms. Quesnell, you' ve screwed things up. Since you did this to me, I' ll make it short. I can do this live streaming, but you must give me a 30% share of the sales, and after the live streaming, you should terminate the contract. It's a good deal. Ms. Quesnell, you' re not going to let this opportunity go, are you? I heard you signed a betting agreement with a supplier and stocked up a lot of goods. The company will be over if this live streaming is screwed up." Marily n looked toward Robert, who was preparing for the live streaming.
Seeing that Marilyn ignored her, Melissa stressed, " Ms. Quesnell, what do you think?" After more than ten seconds, Marilyn turned to Melissa, who was full of arrogance. She asked in confusion, " It's work time. Who are you to question me? Your base salary for this month is deducted by 100 dollars!" After saying that, Marilyn looked away and never looked at Melissa again.
