Chapter 863 We're Going To Get It All Back
Norah remained composed, casually asking, "So, who's behind this?"
Justin replied, "Iker Wilson. He has paid a hefty sum to my family."
"And your parents? Where are they now?"
Justin's face twisted as he grappled with the question. Norah asked firmly, "Where are your parents currently?"
This time, Justin responded quickly, "A year ago, I sent them away from Silverdale to regroup at our home in Celestia."
Celestia was strategically nestled between Glophia and Silverdale.
It seemed Justin and his parents were more astute than Norah had anticipated, choosing such a location to remain under the radar.
"And where exactly are they located?"
"Maple Vale."
The pieces fell into place. While Glophia was just Ivy's hometown, Maple Vale was actually Reggie's base.
Content with the information gathered, Norah saw no need to prolong the conversation. She pocketed her pocket watch and signaled to Gilda with a nod.
"Release him."
It took Justin a few moments to collect himself.
"What happened to me?"
He appeared to have no recollection of their recent conversation.
Norah's expression remained blank. "You don't need to know. Just stay put."
She had no intention of letting Marlin release Justin just yet, not until she located Ivy, to avoid any risk of him sending alerts.
Panicked, Justin asked, "What did you find out?"
He couldn't recall his previous disclosures, nor was he certain if he had revealed any critical details.
In a sudden, desperate gesture, he reached for Norah's wheelchair, but Chayce intervened swiftly, shoving him back.
"Back off!"
"We're done here," Norah declared.
Gilda wheeled Norah out as they left the room, meeting Marlin and Yolande outside.
"How did it go? Did you get any leads?" Yolande inquired.
"Didn't you see on the surveillance? Fortunately, I extracted some vital information, Norah smiled.
Yolande offered an awkward smile. "Ah, right."
She and her brother had been monitoring Norah and her group through the surveillance cameras, believing they had gone undetected.
Norah offered a wry smile before swiftly changing the subject. "Anyway, I owe you thanks for your assistance, Mr. Boyd. It won't be forgotten."
Marlin responded, "Glad to be of service.”
"I'll be on my way now. We'll keep in touch later."
As they departed, Marlin's eyes lingered on Norah, filled with unspoken fondness.
Yolande elbowed her brother teasingly. "You might want to focus on finding yourself a wife instead."
It was clear Marlin stood no chance; Norah was far too popular among the eligible bachelors.
Brushing off her comment, Marlin maintained a stoic expression. "Mind 7 your own business."
Yolande huffed, "If you weren't my brother, I wouldn't waste my advice on you. How would you like to deal with Justin?"
"Norah hasn't specified that yet. Seems she wants me to keep him confined until she needs him again."
Clearly, Marlin had a deep understanding of Norah.
On their journey back, Norah assigned Chayce a new mission.
"I can't make the trip to Celestia myself. Chayce, go and bring Ivy and her husband to Silverdale."
They were crucial witnesses, and it was imperative to keep them close. Chayce nodded resolutely. "Don't worry, Miss. I'll bring them back."
Norah closed her eyes, resting while maintaining a firm tone. "Gilda, Chayce, whatever Iker and his family took from us, we're going to get it all back."
"Miss, you have our full trust." Gilda nodded.
