“Why are you following me?” Melody looked puzzled.

If Sid was supposed to leave the hospital with her earlier, Ander’s people were now guiding her toward a side entrance, so there was no reason for him to still be with her.

Sid coughed discreetly, covering his nose. “I was just curious to see what kind of car Mr. Morgan would send for you.”

“It’s probably just a regular car for getting around,” Melody replied casually. She wasn’t particular about cars as long as they served their purpose.

Sid shrugged. “Then let’s go and see what kind of car it is. I have nothing better to do anyway.”

Melody asked in confusion, “Don’t you have to work at the company?”

Sid laughed and said, “My jet lag hasn’t worn off yet, and Ken wouldn’t be so cruel as to make me work right after I get home. Besides, I’m not like Janet, not that much of a workaholic.”
