If it were any other patient, they would have gone out to make arrangements and let their family members come in to see the patient for the last time. However, this was Sebastian’s only son. He was scared to go out and tell him to see his son for the last time.
The operating room fell into a dead silence. Only the ticking of the equipment could be heard. Under Adrian’s furious roar, no one dared to make a sound.
After a while, Adrian spoke, “Do your best to do what you can. We can only leave it to fate.” With that, he walked to a corner of the operating room and pulled out a chair to sit down.
He had already thought it through. If he delayed the surgery, it would take at least three to four hours. This way, even if he lost credit, Sebastian would think Adrian had worked hard. After all, he had spent three to four hours of surgery inside. No matter how crazy Sebastian was, he wouldn’t harm him. Adrian would blame the woman who attacked Sid, and he would be fine. Adrian could not be bothered with those people anymore. He let them do whatever they wanted and started playing his game peacefully. At the same time, at the entrance of the operating room, Sebastian shouted, “If you insist on going in, then step over my dead body!”
Melody gritted her teeth. “Mr. Quant, why are you so stubborn? What’s so good about Adrian that you trust him?”
Sebastian answered, “I don’t trust him, but it’s a fact that he pulled Sid back from the gates of hell the last time.”

“The first person who successfully operated on Sid wasn’t Adrian but me. I completed the surgery on your son. Meanwhile, Adrian did nothing but mess around!”
Sebastian was stunned but didn’t believe what Melody said. He retorted, “If it’s really as you said, why didn’t you say it back then?”
Melody closed her eyes and said helplessly, “Because you had a huge prejudice against me and Ken. Even if I explained, you wouldn’t believe what I said.”
Moreover, Sebastian would ask the other people in the operating room, but they all worked under Adrian, and no one dared to stand for her. Sebastian’s expression looked more conflicted. If what Melody said was true, then he had personally sent his son to the gates of hell. But if Melody lied to him, perhaps she wanted to kill Sid like Janet.
Seeing that Sebastian was silent, Melody urged, “Please consider it carefully. But you don’t have much time left. I believe that with Adrian’s medical skills, Sid won’t be able to last long.”

Melody said at the right time, “Mr. Quant, do you believe Adrian’s nonsense?”
