Russell stood rooted to the ground in a daze, unable to describe his current feelings.
“Dad!”
Then Mabel’s voice came from afar.
Mabel ran in front of Russell in a few seconds.
She panted slightly and asked, “Dad, I heard Melody got into trouble and even provoked the Webb Group this time. How did she do it? Has the matter been resolved? I know Sabrina, so I might be able to help you save your relationship with the Webb Group.”
Russell was still thinking about when Melody had become so powerful and when she had acquired such a large property as First Hospital. Russell turned his head and immediately frowned upon hearing Mabel’s words.

However, she had no idea what had just happened. She just assumed Russell had been screwed up by Melody this time.
Mabel immediately spoke again. “What’s wrong, Dad? Did Melody refuse to come over and make Mr. Webb and the others mad at you?”
Russell frowned and reprimanded her again with an awful expression, “Why don’t you trust Melody so much? It’s the Webb family’s fault. Why did you start scolding Melody without asking why?”
Mabel’s eyes widened in shock.

‘Is he still my father who constantly curses Melody for being an evil creature?’ thought Mabel.

Sabrina and her family framing her. She put the Webb Group directly into bankruptcy.”

Mabel looked as if she had been struck by lightning.
“Melody doesn’t have that ability…” said Mabel.
Mabel immediately realized Ken must have helped Melody as soon as she said that.
‘Although the Webb Group is not considered a top-notch wealthy family, their words are still useful in the upper-class circle of Silverlake. However, Ken actually bankrupted the Webb Group for Melody. How could he do this for Melody? Isn’t Ken afraid Ramon will be angry when he returns?’ thought Mabel.

Russell did not answer. He only said, “Listen. Think of a way to get Melody to agree to eat with us for the next few days.
No matter what, Melody’s still my daughter and your sister although she made some mistakes. There’s no overnight feud among families. I leave the task to you.”
“Dad!”
Mabel chased after him and said, “You know Melody’s personality. How could she easily agree to eat and reconcile with us?”
Russell stared at Mabel coldly. The more he looked at her, the more he felt that Mabel was suddenly not as pleasing to the eye as Melody.
“Can’t you do this little thing right? If you can’t, don’t come back!” said Russell, frowning.
Mabel was about to speak when Russell suddenly asked, “I heard a rumor that Ulric was locked up in the police station. Is it true?”
Mabel panicked. She dreaded that Russell would abandon her and take Melody home again once he found out the truth.
‘If Melody knows she can replace me, she will agree to return to the Fox family,’ thought Mabel.
Thinking of that, Mabel quickly shook her head and lied, “How is that possible? Who is Ulric Swanson? How could he be locked up in the police station?”
Russell was relieved and said, “Bring up the collaboration with Ulric more recently. My side is almost ready. Tomorrow, all the factories under my company can officially arrange to start producing the new season’s clothes.
“Coincidentally, the Webb Group had closed down. They would sell the cloth in their inventory at a low price to earn the last sum.
“It is a great thing for us. You need to nail down the deal with Ulric as soon as possible, in case the money can’t flow. Got It?”
Mabel gritted her teeth and said, “Yes…”

However, Mabel’s eyes suddenly lit up when she thought of Ken.
Mabel believed that she was not inferior to Melody in all aspects. Her looks were even better than Melody’s. They both were the daughters of the Fox family. Ken must care more about her, right?

Melody nodded and asked, “Did Mr. Wallrich’s daughter and granddaughter come? You can also contact her directly.”

“Where do they live now?”
